Goog Morning!

Last night was our first church plant bible study(instead of driving into church on Sunday nights, not that we did anymore) We had 41 people, but I don't think that number really counts seeing as how we have 5 kids, my sister has 6 kids and another family there has 4 kids. Take away all those kids and it wasn't really a big turn out. :lmao: We haven't yet decided if we are going to leave our current church for the new closer one.

I kinda like my friends at our current church, you know? At the closer church I am friends with one of the ladies(the one with 4 kids) and kinda with another, except they are Cuban and WAY TO FREAKIN touchy feely for me. I'm not a hugger and every time you come and go you have to hug and she even does the cheek kiss. Not just her, but her 3 kids as well. That's more hugs than I can process at once. ;)

So anyway the other main family at the closer church would be my estranged sister.

We aren't deciding until they are a permanent church and actually have a pastor.

Sandy
- Yes, the Bachelor is a scumbag. You don't give your love to someone only to take it back a little while later. lol. He couldn't decide he REALLY wanted the other girl? Give me a break. I liked him until I read that spoiler. What a jerk.

Amazing Race - Here's what gets me about the mother/son team. He is SO frustrated that he can't communicate with anyone without his Mother's help, yet hasn't learned to read lips? He has had to have had some hearing in the past, or currently to be able to speak so many words, so clearly. (I would think, at least from my past experiences with deaf people.) I don't understand why he hasn't learned to read lips. I had a deaf friend in HS and between my weak signs and her reading my lips we could communicate okay. I feel bad for the poor kid.

I really need to clean. I mean, really clean. I have been so lazy since becoming pregnant that I usually let Kaleb run the vacuum over the floors and call it done. ;) He LOVES to vacuum and asks to do it daily, but of course he isn't doing a Mama job of it. I also need to get the dust/dirt out of the couches and condition the leather ones. And so much more. The boys bedrooms all need overhauls. I just don't know where to start. :scared1:

I just have to give a big shout out.

Because I am so freakin' excited that I am going to be 16 weeks tomorrow!

Woot!

:dance3: :woohoo: :yay: :cool1: :cheer2:

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr and double BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrr.

Baby it's cold outside!

Off to class!

Did Marita wake up in time!?????

I hope so.

Stay under blankets pumba.

yea on 16 weeks MP.

Yea on no more beurking Lynt

called the heating person........he is on his way......I am under a blanket and my fingers are frozen.....so off and wait for the important thing.....HEAT.......I remember back in 1998 when we had the ice storm.....unforgettable storm and beauty all rolled up in one..ice falling on the trees......heck never mind that .....falling trees with ice on them....it was still a beautiful storm.....

hubby is out trying to get the front of our driveway passable for the furnace man so that he can pull in ......there is a parking ban in almost the whole state.....off the streets so the plows can do their job...

Stay warm Pumba!

Fill some socks with rice and microwave them for 2-3 minutes, stick them under the covers with you. Instant heater! :)

Pumba-- Hope that heating guy can fix you up.

We just have it very cold. I know the kids would be going straight into the school today....-26 C ( that is -15 F) with the wind.

The kids have wacky hair day, Hannah just put a pony on the top of her head with her red hair. Nicholas he wanted a mohawk but I couldn't not get it to stay up like that and his sides were so long and curly I told him he looked more like a munchkin .....:lmao:

Mommy P-- 16 weeks already. :cheer2: Yes your take on the Bachelor is mine too. I have been reading all the spoilers too.

Sandy-- I can't wait to see what the times were at the pit stop on Amazing Race. How long were the brother/sister walking in the woods.

Rob -- glad you found our new home , don't be a stranger.

Pumba: Omgoodness. I can't stand being cold. I hope they fix your heat soon!

MommyP: Oh the fond memories of a growing baby tummy. I loved being pregnant and feeling that precious little baby moving around inside.

Everybody: Yo. 'sup?

pumba needs a snuggie! :lmao:

Steal megara's body heat!

Here's a hug to help you stay warm!

Pumba Brrrr - hope that heatman is there now!!

Nab THAT is COLD!! Its March, come on sunshine!!

Marita Hope you got up on time!!

MommyP awww 4 weeks!! :goodvibes Goog luck with your chuch choices - its not easy!

For Luke - I understand what you are saying with lip reading, but I worked in the Deaf School, it truly is an art/gift to read lips so many words sound/look alike - you really have to concentrate - when you're born deaf, maybe its more boys (we did hockey with Deaf - mainly boys, and had info meetings) but they gave us a test once - a spelling test that mimicked a hearing loss - its truly a gift to read lips! And at the Deaf School - I worked with deaf kids, and trying to teach them how to talk - Marlee Maitlin is also a big name (she's not a real nice person irl but then again, I"ve not walked in her shoes) that doesnt like to talk -

basically I think he's at an age that things have always worked for him... and maybe this exposure will open his eyes for communication as well as it opens our eyes on some of the Deaf challenges...

Water's a boilin - time for a nice cup of HOT TEA! :cool1:

Buenos dias, Moovers! We got 14 inches of snow overnight, so school was canceled (only our 2nd snow day this school year!) and I took the day off work. My poor DH had to leave his car in the driveway and take the commuter train to work, since there's a parking ban in the city where he works. So he had to leave the house at 5am to be in work at 7:30. Blech.

Today is my BFF's birthday, and we squeezed in a nice long conversation this morning, which was a nice treat. My kids were outside playing in the snow, as were hers, so we got to have our conversation almost uninterrupted. Heaven! :cloud9: We have been friends since the age of 4, and talking to her always puts me in a great mood.

Pumba, I hope that by now your heat is fixed! I have NO tolerance for the cold, so I can't imagine how uncomfortable you've been!

NAB, dang! I don't know how you find the fortitude to leave the house in temps like that! Brrrrrrrr! BTW, Hannah is adorable!

MommyP, 16 weeks already? Time's flying!

Marita, hope you made it to work with time to spare!

Allie, happy giving birth day, and happy birthday to your son!

Cel, BBN, Mony, LilG -

Oh my! I finally got motivated.

I cleaned out the kitchen cabinets and moved some things into the new laundry room. I also went through the little boys room, throwing away 2 HUGE garbage bags full of ruined clothes and broken toys. The room is now safe for Isaac to be able to go into and play. Yay! I also went around and touched up all the white trim around the doors. Everything was full of little boy dirty prints. Ick. And I finished painting the white trim in my bathroom that Chad started last Spring and never finished.

I am super tired. And unfortunatly not done. I still have to finish putting the room back together and get the rest of the house straightened up.

This week I am going to tackly painting the extra dresser(we have one now that I threw away so many clothes. lol) white for Isaac's room because his little dresser just ain't cutting it.

Isaac's room is the next that needs an overhaul. It's a mess. There is no room in the drawers for his clothes so they have gotten thrown about in the corners. And I need to put away all the baby toys for the new one.

I wish we could bottle the nesting impulse. We could make millions.

Mommy P -- I really feel lazy today after you did all that.:faint: All I did today was put a patch on Hannah's sash for Brownies tonight.

Ally-- Happy Birthing day and Happy Birthday to your son! How did he like driving in the snow?

Marita-- are you home yet? Hope today wasn't to stressful for you.

Sandy-- I know you will be sitting watching Bachelor with me tonight. :thumbsup2 I think the first two hours will be boring because we already know who he picks. The fireworks is the hour after. I want to see how his family interacts with the girls though.

Hey everyone, I woke up OK, I was only 10 minutes late, LOL.

But the last 2 hours were killing me. I got home at 5:50, blech!!!

I asked the boss if we could comprise on me leaving at 4:30. He said, ok, IF you want to come at 8:30! That's not gonna happen, I tell you that!

Pumba, hope you are nice and worm by now!

the furnace guy got here and knew what the problem was and then had to go and get the part.......he came back.put it in and voila made out a check for 287...I am thankful that we have heat now and hopefully wont have to worry about it again ......

I finally got the chill out of my bones and Megara and I shared the couch and the blanket.....hubby had to go and snowblow our other driveway and then he put the snowblower in our neighbors yard so he could borrow it.....his sheer pin broke off his......so two snowstorms is not fun to do by hand....

Hope you all have a great night....it is wicked cold now but at least the snow has stopped......

Tonight I vacuumed the entire house(well Jeremiah did all their bedrooms) and get this the floor attachment is missing a link and so it's the perfect height for Kaleb to vacuum. Not so much for me. lol. I need to tackle my closet soon so I can find that thing. lol. Chad mopped for me. I even vacuumed the couches. lol.

See that's the beauty of SOUTHERN snow. It doesn't stick to the streets, and it was all gone by the time we got out of church.

He went out and played in it for a little while. He was wearing his shorts, and slippers while wearing his dad's heavy coat. Gotta love the South!

I can't say much because I was out there with my PJ's on underneath my coat. :scared1: :rotfl2:

Oh, and I haven't watched Bachelor at all this season, but there was a local girl on there, Stephanie. It was a tragic story of how she lost her husband. He died in a plane crash with his brother. :sad1: I'm sure all you faithful watchers already knew that though. ;) It sounds like it was a blessing that she got sent home. Sounds like that guy isn't worth havin' in my book.

Oh, and I forgot all about Celeb. Apprentice being on last night. :headache: Luckily, I was able to catch the whole episode online. :thumbsup2 Now I've got to set a Season Pass for that on TIVO.

Happy Birthin' Day, Allie! Hope your DS had a great day :cake:

I'm sure Pumba is wishing Maine snow was like Southern snow.

My hubby's birthday is tomorrow. He's still trying to figure out where he wants to go for dinner.

MP - You make me tired just reading about all that cleaning and such.

Poor Marita :headache: I sure hope things loosen up soon with your work hours.

Nabbie - It was SO cold here today, but fortunately no snow.

bbn - I see you lost "IT" over on FB

Where's the Peej?! We left bread crumbs.

Poor Marita :headache: I sure hope things loosen up soon with your work hours.

Thanks, Moo  I am not very hopeful at the moment. But I did NO work from home today, take that, boss!

That guy on the Batchelor is a piece of work. I think this whole franchise has run it's course. there has onely been ONE real match in all these years.

BBN has been MIA too. :rolleyes1
