These were by ******, but they had different dates. I'm good at Photoshop, so I was able to change the dates for our cruise. LOL!

Finally a 16 yo girl!

We're traveling with our 16 yo & 5 yo girls, plus some dear friends who have a 14 yo boy. I know my daughter would love to email your daughter a bit before the cruise. She's made some good griends that way and it's so fun to find each other in the cruise terminal b4 sailing. If you are interested, PM me so they can exchange email addresses (or if you'd prefer, they can PM back and forth).

How do we sign up for the F/E?

Dagny, I sent you a private message in response to your question about the FE. I did add you to the list, but you never confirmed that you were in. I need the names of everyone you are sailing with and ages of children and your room number or just let me know if you are GTY. With you we have 20 cabins total...so you would be delivering to 19.

Please confirm that you are in.

I called DCL back a bit and asked about the dining rotation. This is what I was told.


Saturday - Casual night - rotation menu??
Sunday - Formal night - Pirate and Princess Menu
Monday - casual - rotation menu??
Tuesday (Nassau) - Pirate Night menu
Wednesday (CC) - casual - rotation menu??
Thursday (WDW) - casual
Friday - Semi-Formal -Captain's Gala menu
Saturday - casual

Hey Everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself: I'm Rebecca, and we just booked this cruise today! So far it's myself, my husband, our 11yr old DD and 8yr old DD. We are trying to convince my parents to go with us as well. Are there any meets set up yet? I've read through most of this thread, but I may have missed that. We are planning on having a meet at 3:00 on the 2nd in the Promenade Lounge. We are also meeting up for a picture on Pirate night in the atrium at 7:45. Here is a link to the Facebook page. We have been really active over there.

Hi Rebecca, and welcome!! When you find your way over to our FB Group, if you click on the EVENTS tab up near the top right under theMickey/Statue of Liberty picture, you will see the information for our Meet and Greet and Pirate Photo Opp.

Tell your parents to book!! we have several multi-generations sailing with us! I'm sailing with my DH, DD and her husband (my SIL) and my little 2 1/2 year old granddaughter. Also sailing with us is my 92 years young dad! So we have 4 generations. I think there is another 4 generation group, and a bunch of 3 generation family groups! Tell them to join the fun!!

Thanks Maria! I'm going to talk to the parents tonight and see if I can convince them. They typically cruise Carnival and Royal Caribbean, and are having trouble choking down the increased cost. But I KNOW they really don't want to miss their only grandchildren's first cruise That's the angle I'm working!

Got my fingers crossed!! I hope you convince them. It's a totally different experience. I've been on Carnival, NCL and Holland America. I honestly like Disney the best. The shows are amazing. The food is definately better than Carnival and NCL. I don't know if they hit the casinos but tell them they'll save money since Disney doesn't have any!!

Thanks kristi, what i'm actually looking for is the three different possible restaurant rotation. I requested Lumiere's for formal night, so I was wondering which restaurant we would be dining at on the first and third night.

On our 7-night cruise on the Magic the rotations were APL, PLA and LAP. I requested PLA so that we could also be in Lumiere's for formal night. I am assuming that the 8-night will follow the same type of rotation. So we would end up having PLAPLAPL? I did ask this when I called but I am not sure if the person I was speaking too understood what I was asking.
