Well we have a soccer game and I work tonight, so I think I'll head on out and finish my 2 loads of laundry this am :laundy:

Hope Everyone has a Great Weekend :thumbsup2

Morning all

FInally get a weekend off and it is rainy and dreay YUCK

Oh well at least I don't have to work:banana:

We haven't had any rain in over 3 weeks-just sunny and warm everyday-but it is getting a bit parched looking everywhere

OK-I have to get a nap in before work-talk to you later :wave2:

Nap done- Off to work soon-Hope Everyone has a good night :wave2:

so Kathy do you have any big plans for your Birthday weekend????

You remembered!

If the weather clears (it's rained since Thursday morning - but it's supposed to be nice today) we're going to take the boat back to the lake and go out for the afternoon. We've had the boat at home for 3 weeks. Brought it home to clean it up really well and then haven't had time to get back. We were going to go back last Saturday and that's when DH got called out for that manhunt.

I'm going to bake myself a birthday cake in a few minutes. I'm in the mood for a home-made carrot cake. DH and the boys said they would make me a cake but I told them they could do dinner and I'd make the cake! ;) We're having ribs and mashed 'taters and baked beans and corn on the cob for dinner!

And the gas crisis continues here....Yesterday I had to get gas for Our Jeep which we only use mostly on Thursdays since both Kids have things going on and it's Our day to car pool for Soccer-well I went looking for gas at 3pm and...

At 5pm I finally left a gas station-I went to 15 gas stations before finding this one and the line was terrible, 15-20 cars deep! :headache:

-By the time I left there wasn't too much gas left-most of the pumps only had premium left at 4.99/gallon this is near crisis situation in Atlanta-People are getting very angry :sad2:

-I even missed a work staff meeting because of it-I called them and told them there was no way I could get into work since finding enough gas just to get to work on my regular days was going to be a challenge

It is terrible here too - crisis point! DD said that in Charlotte people are sleeping in their cars in line at stations just waiting until the stations get deliveries. We are lucky that we are so close to TN because TN is not having as much of a problem as NC is. So, as long as we have enough gas in our vehicles to get over to TN hopefully we'll be okay. We've got both of our vehicles full now!

I need to try and not let my tank go below half. I always run it down to the last bit before I get gas and if this continues I just might end up walking if I let that happen.

I haven't been comfortable with mine going below 3/4 this week! I've been very lucky that when I've hit the 3/4 mark I've found a station that has just gotten a delivery!!!

I wonder if it is just the stations that don't want to pay the price for the gas to begin with?

No, they're just not getting the deliveries. For our area - it has something to do with a pipeline not operating at full capacity and they're having to truck in more that usual.
