More on Kate from Cleveland (there's a video of Kate speaking at the event in the link as well):
CLEVELAND -- Kate Gosselin made it clear from the minute she took the stage at the Cleveland Women's Show that she would only answer questions she deemed reasonable.
The star of TLC's "John & Kate Plus 8" took questions from a standing crowd of mostly women who say they adore Kate Gosselin.
"I've always been amazed what a great mom she is, how she can organize 8 kids and dogs and a house, we just love her," Kelly Moore said.
Gosselin talked about her exercise regimen, cooking, and her favorite episodes of the show.
She and her husband have been criticized in recent months for exploiting their children, and now the two are going through a divorce.
She thanked fans for their support, but told them she has decided not to talk about her husband for the sake of her children.
"They keep me going, they are the ones that need me to be as whole as I possibly can be and I don't have the answers. I'm learning, I've never done this before, this is the first time I'm facing hard decisions alone and I just want to make the right decisions," Gosselin said.
Instead the mother of eight offered some advice for other working moms experiencing "mommy guilt".
"Moms don't all sit at home cooking every day, moms aren't always there every day to greet their kids at the school bus, moms are as versatile as dads. If you're working you're also providing for your kids in a different way," Gosselin said.
Fans in the crowd say they look up to Gosselin.
"What I like about her honestly is she's a strong woman a very organized person and she's inspiring for me," Caprina Gates, a mother of triplets said, "I think it's easy to judge and I look at her for strength and I know she's not perfect but who is? None of us are."
Gosselin visited as part of the Cleveland Women's Show. The Women's Show runs through Sunday at the IX Center.
