Cass & Kira - Universal Orlando - First Mother-Daughter Trip August 2024

Thanks. Your trip report helped me make the decision to spend a day at Universal Orlando on January 14. I already had a short, three night solo trip scheduled at WDW last week with a room at Pop Century. I haven't been to Universal since 2017, so Hagrid's Magical Creature Motorbike Adventure and VelociCoaster weren't there the last time I visited. I've been wanting to go back, and I read through your trip report a couple of times in the days leading up to my vacation. I got up one morning to walk to the Skyliner and ended up getting a Lyft to Universal instead.

I loved Hagrid's Motorbike Adventure and VelociCoaster, and based on your pictures, I'm pretty sure I sat at your table at Three Broomsticks for lunch. It was 313 instead of 315, but the location appeared to be in the same corner, so they might have moved things around a little bit. I had tried both the regular and frozen Butterbeer in the past, but I had the Butterbeer Ice Cream for the first time this trip, which is almost worth the cost of the park admission.

Hahahah that's amazing! I am so glad you went! Aren't those rides just fantastic? :worship::worship:

And yes, that butterbeer ice cream is worth it alone!!

And kudos to you for taking a solo trip! I go at least once per year, mostly to brush up on stuff and take some training and as much as I love going with my family, there's just something unique and fun about solo trips! ::yes:::goodvibes

I love your trip reports and will really miss them. I discovered them in 2019 while planning a Disneyland, CA trip. I spent the pandemic reading all your trip reports. Thank you for all of them!
Best wishes and maybe we will meet again in Avengers Campus!
