You're going to LOVE it! I had a courtyard view and waking up everyday to look out at the beautiful hotel...ah, words cannot describe!! And I loved being able to take the boat over to MK!

That's one of the things I'm so excited about it! I mean, we could always take the boat over from the MK... but knowing that we're going HOME to our resort makes it so much more special & exciting!

I know exactly who you're talking about! London right? I am ashamed to admit I watched Daisy of Love lol. I couldn't stand her when she was on Rock of Love. Did you know Snookie is getting her own dating show? Snookin for Love. I kid you not. VH1 will put anyone on tv! But I watch these stupid shows so they must be doing something right. I watch Keeping up with the Kardashians a lot too. They grew on me lol. And I used to watch the Two Coreys all the time. RIP Corey Haim.

I love Keeping Up with the Kardashians! I haven't watched it in forever though, so I have a ton of episodes tivoed! I used to love The Girls Next Door but the new girls aren't as good. Oh well. The twins have grown on me but the "main" one is kinda boring! Do you ever watch Kendra? I used to occasionally. Eh.

We do have a really late Spring Break, they like to make it the same time as Easter. I hope so too, how exciting would that be! Right now I'm just trying to get my mom to let my go to WDW for my 16th birthday and to bring a friend It's not for two more years, but I decided I should start trying now! Since my bday will be on the Monday for Martin L. King day (January 16th) I'll have that day off, so I thought it would be cool to go down for the whole weekend!

I am loving our weather lately. It snowed insane amounts on Friday, like legit blizzard status and it was all melted by the end of Saturday. I was a happy girl!! I just hated Friday. I hope you guys start getting more sun. I mean it is OFFICIALLY spring now!! The first day was just last week!!

Christmas in Disney is so nice, they decorate EVERYTHING, and of course it all looks fantastic. I would definitely suggest packing warm clothes...I had myself convinced that although it was December, it was FLORIDA. So why would I get cold? ppffhahahaha I ended up having to do laundry while we were there because i packed like one or two pairs of jeans and the rest skirts/shorts. There was one afternoon I did wear shorts, but it was still chilly. It was great weather with Conner though because I just made sure he always had a sweatshirt or jacket, there was no worrying about dehydration and sweating to death lol It will definitely be an interesting change when we go in October this year.
If you have some extra time on your hands, you should check out each of the deluxe resorts, they have huge gingerbread houses among all of their other awesome decorations. Mickeys very merry xmas party is great too, I dont think it tops their Halloween parade, but they give out hot chocolate and cookies all night/stay open late. You can also get xmas decorations personalized in the Magic Kingdom. Have fun!!! you;ll love it!

I know...its hard to imagine it being legitmately cold there!! I hated hearing about how they got SNOW this past January during the race. I would cry if I left my dreadful CO winter and went to FL and saw snow. Not okay!! I will definitely pack an assortment of clothes for a variety of weather conditions. I'm kind of a freak though and I will start wearing dresses and stuff as soon as it gets above 50. I just hate being all bundled up!! I'm sure it will be shocking for me after being there in August!

I can't wait to see all the decorations! I will try to hit up as many deluxes as possible. I just love Christmas decor!! And I LOVE the special parties. There is just a touch of MORE magic in the air and I LOVE IT!!

I just got finished reading your trip report from when you went in September. My family and I were there some of the same days as you were and it just so happens that we were eating at Tusker House at the same time and you have my daughter in the picture of your mom with Mickey!!!! I almost fell out of my chair when I saw her!! Its so awesome to think about how small of a world it really is!! BTW we are going back in August also this year and will be there from the 11th - 21st. So first the sad news...moving our August trip up to the end of July so I can see xoktenox and tinkgurl doesn't work because just of the timing of the summer camps for our youth group and Stephanie and I can't take the much time off so close together. DANG IT!

Secondly...there is a very high chance that Dillan will at least make a cameo in my tr. It's pretty certain that he is moving to Florida (used to live there) so we've all told him that he has to at least come by for the weekend. So whatever. I still think he's lame for not wanting to go the whole time.

Third, Lauren and I have for sure decided to take the boys to Hoop-Dee-Doo! We are going to have a magical time. It's time to start REALLY planning our food because we only have TWO months until we can make ADRs!!

Finally, since I am going to go on TWO trips before 2010 is out, I'm going to go ahead and purchase an AP!! Which means I will need another trip to REALLY get some good use out of it!! So I am thinking of going there for my "wild and crazy" 21st birthday that is in April 2011! I don't actually want a wild and crazy 21st and I don't want to be without Landon and I do enjoy me some Disney World, so it just makes complete sense, right? And I'm going to TRY to get as many of my friends down there as well too. Really...who needs Vegas? Not this girl!

I'm thinking for that trip, a good resort would be the Boardwalk. So I'm thinking about renting points for that!! That's a very tentative trip though and the only one that's NOT set in stone. But I'm starting to run some rough numbers through my head.

How was everyone's weekend this time around? On Friday here, it was crazy snowy. Couldn't even see! I went with Dillan and his little brother to see "The Bounty Hunter". Verdict? TERRIBLE! I wish I would've gone to see "Remember Me" again. (Jen...what'd you think?)

Then Saturday came around and it was sunny and beautiful and the snow melted so fast that it wasn't all gross and slushy for very long. That night I hung out with all the people from my tr!! We went (with Landon) to this yummy restaurant and had some nice laughs and stuff. Then we put Landon to bed and went over to someone's house and played Disney Scene It! It was so magical! We got so excited. Except when it was movies that we had never seen (Country Bears? Really?) and there were even some I hadn't heard of, and hence can't remember! Oh well...after that some more people came over and Stephanie and I really wanted to watch a Disney movie but we got out-voted and watched "I Love You, Man" instead. Still pretty good.

Yesterday was church and youth group mostly! It was another unbelieveably gorgeous day. I was so happy. I also found this fabulous new store in our local mall called "Love Culture". Do any of you have one or have you heard of it? I'm not sure if its a big huge place that has lots of stores or what...but I completely fell in love. I got 3 dresses and 2 cropped jackets and it was just blissful. I even completely forgot about taking Landon to see the Easter Bunny because of it! Oh well...its not like we skipped out on Mickey or anything. Now THAT would be a crime! Oh and after youth group, since all the kids are on Spring Break this week, we took all the kids to see "Diary of a Wimpy Kid". I wouldn't recommend it to any of you, but a middle schooler, yes! (Your brothers would probably like it, Sara!)

Yes, I'm so glad that you will be there!!!!!!! The Boardwalk is totally perfect!! I am saving money to hire an in-room babysitter at least one night so I can go indulge in some JellyRolls action!! Drink Around the World, Drink Around the Monorail Line (*cough*lapu-lapu*cough), JellyRolls, etc. I repeat, who needs Vegas?

Okay, yes those are ALL definites!! Did you want to do Ohanas on our first night? I really think its magical that we will have APs so we don't have to stress about wasting a whole days ticket for just a few hours at a park. And we can park-hop if we wanted and its just the greatest thing EVER!!

Which character meals did you want to do for our little men? How early of risers are you guys? Would you guys be down for some pre-park-opening breakfasts or no? Because I LOVED doing that but Landon wakes up ridiculously early so I am SO used to getting up early. Plus, with the time difference, its not even that early for us! So let me know what you think about that. I don't think I did any character dinners, I did all breakfasts. Do you have a preference or an opinion? I have no preference but could only give a real opinion on the ones I've done! (Chef Mickey's, Donald's Safari Breakfast, Akershus and Crystal Palace)

I was so bummed at first, because I wanted to get outside and start working on my flower beds, but that didn't happen. I went to my cousin's baby shower on Saturday, and we thought there was church on Sunday, so we got all ready, drove out there, and realized that it was canceled. So we went out to eat instead! And the rest of the weekend was LAZINESS!!!! It was wonderful to just sit in the house and watch movies (we got a bunch from the Disney Movie Club in on Sat) and be lazy. We've been running like crazy people lately, so it was awesome to have some forced down-time because of the weather.

All of your movies/fun friend times sound great!! I'm so glad that yall have become so close! And I've never heard of that store, but it sounds wonderful!

I'm SO GLAD that I still get to go with them!! I just know it is going to be SO much fun!! It will be great with Lauren too! I'm lucky to have such great people to vacation with!! You know how I was just NOT feeling all the vacations with my parents, as much as I love 'em! So this is so exhilarating!!

The birthday trip will be great!! I'm very excited. I'm really hoping that Stephanie can make it to that one as well since her birthday is around then too (same as yours!!!!) but she will probably have school. Oh well!! Do you have any fun things planned for your birthday yet? On the 9th, we're having a middle school lock-in at this place that has inflatables and sports fields and laser tag and all sorts of stuff so it is going to be CRAZY!! Then we will probably just watch movies or something like we did for Dillan's birthday on my actual birthday and then maybe go out or something the following weekend! Not sure yet, but we're excited!! Stephanie also just bought her own condo and she should be moving in by the end of the month so we were thinking of combining a house warming thing with her for our birthdays! I wish you lived closer and could come party with middle schoolers and stuff with us!!

Remember Me was sad. I really liked it, I thought it was great, but the ending...wow. I was not expecting that. I felt like I got punched in the stomach.

My actual birthday is the 13th which is just randomly on a Wednesday and not close to a weekend at all!! Oh well...but those are the tentative dates, so you can look into it. It is SUCH an awesome feeling! One of things I was looking forward to the most about getting married at WDW (lol its all planned, just waiting for a guy now ) was the AP that you get!! I'm very excited I'm not waiting until my wedding to get one!

Drink Around the World, Drink Around the Monorail Line (*cough*lapu-lapu*cough), JellyRolls, etc. I repeat, who needs Vegas?

YES!!!! I used an in-room sitter one night on my last trip and it worked out perfectly. You're so right - Who needs Vegas?! It's going to be so much fun!!!

Okay, yes those are ALL definites!! Did you want to do Ohanas on our first night? I really think its magical that we will have APs so we don't have to stress about wasting a whole days ticket for just a few hours at a park. And we can park-hop if we wanted and its just the greatest thing EVER!!

Which character meals did you want to do for our little men? How early of risers are you guys? Would you guys be down for some pre-park-opening breakfasts or no? Because I LOVED doing that but Landon wakes up ridiculously early so I am SO used to getting up early. Plus, with the time difference, its not even that early for us! So let me know what you think about that. I don't think I did any character dinners, I did all breakfasts. Do you have a preference or an opinion? I have no preference but could only give a real opinion on the ones I've done! (Chef Mickey's, Donald's Safari Breakfast, Akershus and Crystal Palace)

I LOVE PLANNING!!!

Yeah, Ohana on our first night sounds wonderful to me! We can make an ADR for around 7:30 or so and then that way we have time to eat and then make it out to the Poly beach around 8:30ish for Holiday Wishes at 9:00. (I'm going off of last year's times and assuming that MVMCP will be going on that night) That's exactly what we did last year on our first night (except we did Kona) and it was so magical! We can each enjoy a Lapu Lapu on the beach while the boys play in the sand and the fireworks go off! OH MY GOSH! I CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT!!! And if there's no party that night, we can go inside the MK and watch them!

As far as character meals, I'm totally up for anything. Jake is an early riser, too and I loooove being in the park before it opens! We've done Crystal Palace lunch, Chef Mickey's dinner, Donald's Safari Breakfast and 1900 Park Fare dinner and I had no problems at any of them!

Ohh, I LOVED Hoop Dee Doo when we went in 2008! I loved loved loved loved loved it! It's just a really fun place to eat, there's always something for you to watch and the food is so good. So jealous that you'll be eating there

Definitely a good excuse for another trip!! As if we need excuses!! I think you should definitely look into Dec and at the very least, April!! That would be so fun!!

I'm glad you had good weather too! We did except for Friday. Friday was just random!! It snowed so much but was in the 60's the day before and after!! Ridiculous!! Yeah I had low expectations for The Bounty Hunter and it failed to meet even those! It was just that bad!!

Oh man! Too bad you still haven't seen Alice! My weekend actually ended up kind of similiar. That's why on Saturday night we didn't watch a Disney movie. Some rowdy kids came over and it was the end of their spring break and they just made it less fun!! Blah. Is Montauk really nice? I had no idea it was there, but I've heard of it thanks to the movie "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind".

Unfortunately (times 230348094 ) December definitely isn't going to happen. Chris and I are trying reeeeally hard to save up because we want to move to Myrtle Beach. It's hard to do that when we've been saving for another Disney trip every 6 months or less (not that I'm complaining!). Anyway, April seems much more realistic than December which is cool with me

I'm determined to see Alice and Chris keeps promising me we'll see it this week/weekend so my fingers are crossed! Montauk is super nice but I would have enjoyed it much more on a nice summer weekend where the streets and hotels weren't filled with drunk 20 somethings through drunk 60 somethings! These people just weren't the kid of people we typically hangout with so I can understand what you mean about the kids from your weekend making it less fun. That's exactly how I felt. Oh and Montauk is about an hour and 15 min drive from my house...except there's only one road out and one road home. So with traffic it could take FOREVERRRR in the summer!

So first the sad news...moving our August trip up to the end of July so I can see xoktenox and tinkgurl doesn't work because just of the timing of the summer camps for our youth group and Stephanie and I can't take the much time off so close together. DANG IT!

Secondly...there is a very high chance that Dillan will at least make a cameo in my tr. It's pretty certain that he is moving to Florida (used to live there) so we've all told him that he has to at least come by for the weekend. So whatever. I still think he's lame for not wanting to go the whole time.

Third, Lauren and I have for sure decided to take the boys to Hoop-Dee-Doo! We are going to have a magical time. It's time to start REALLY planning our food because we only have TWO months until we can make ADRs!!

Finally, since I am going to go on TWO trips before 2010 is out, I'm going to go ahead and purchase an AP!! Which means I will need another trip to REALLY get some good use out of it!! So I am thinking of going there for my "wild and crazy" 21st birthday that is in April 2011! I don't actually want a wild and crazy 21st and I don't want to be without Landon and I do enjoy me some Disney World, so it just makes complete sense, right? And I'm going to TRY to get as many of my friends down there as well too. Really...who needs Vegas? Not this girl!

I'm thinking for that trip, a good resort would be the Boardwalk. So I'm thinking about renting points for that!! That's a very tentative trip though and the only one that's NOT set in stone. But I'm starting to run some rough numbers through my head.

How was everyone's weekend this time around? On Friday here, it was crazy snowy. Couldn't even see! I went with Dillan and his little brother to see "The Bounty Hunter". Verdict? TERRIBLE! I wish I would've gone to see "Remember Me" again. (Jen...what'd you think?)

Then Saturday came around and it was sunny and beautiful and the snow melted so fast that it wasn't all gross and slushy for very long. That night I hung out with all the people from my tr!! We went (with Landon) to this yummy restaurant and had some nice laughs and stuff. Then we put Landon to bed and went over to someone's house and played Disney Scene It! It was so magical! We got so excited. Except when it was movies that we had never seen (Country Bears? Really?) and there were even some I hadn't heard of, and hence can't remember! Oh well...after that some more people came over and Stephanie and I really wanted to watch a Disney movie but we got out-voted and watched "I Love You, Man" instead. Still pretty good.

Yesterday was church and youth group mostly! It was another unbelieveably gorgeous day. I was so happy. I also found this fabulous new store in our local mall called "Love Culture". Do any of you have one or have you heard of it? I'm not sure if its a big huge place that has lots of stores or what...but I completely fell in love. I got 3 dresses and 2 cropped jackets and it was just blissful. I even completely forgot about taking Landon to see the Easter Bunny because of it! Oh well...its not like we skipped out on Mickey or anything. Now THAT would be a crime! Oh and after youth group, since all the kids are on Spring Break this week, we took all the kids to see "Diary of a Wimpy Kid". I wouldn't recommend it to any of you, but a middle schooler, yes! (Your brothers would probably like it, Sara!)

You are going to have to let us know if you rent points and how that works-- i was talking to my mom today and we might-- rent points and go in dec also we shall see-- i want to get the sept trip planned first-- but i think we would stay at AKL and rent points it seems to be a good deal and people love renting you saw a lot of movies this weekend that sounds like fun! I am sorry you didnt like bounty hunter I will wait for that to come out on DVD-- I want to see the remember me movie too! Everything is going good my way we had very nice weather here this weekend! Thats so exciting you got 3 dresses!! i love shopping!!!

It's something to think about! I can definitely do a vacation in April. We can't take them during the summer here because that's when we're busy but April would work. Hmmmm....I've been wanting to go on a cruise too so maybe I can combine that with a Disney cruise, especially if they run their travel agent deal...hmmmm. Who can I talk into doing this with me...

Though if the NKOTB have their cruise again next May, I may have to save for that!
