Free Dining 2013 Part 2 ~ The Sequel

We're at about 86 days till we leave to drive to Disney.
I listen to Disney music, and if my DS11.5 hears one of the big shows start up (Wishes, Illuminations), he yells from whatever room he's in "Don't cry, Mom!!!"

:lmao:

I'm already have Disney packing anxiety dreams. :sad2:
I think the fact that it has been 4 years makes me feel like I'm out of my groove. Is it wrong to take away children's summer clothes in June so they won't get trashed before a Sept. trip??? :confused3

No wonder I hate this so much. I don't play the lottery. Sorry to everyone waiting. I am with you and I know how truly depressing it is.

Hooray for those quickly approaching the double digits!!!! We still have 161 days.

Off topic, How do I add smilies on my iphone?

Download the emoji free app...I'm trying to find a good emoji app on my galaxy. I used them all the time on my iPhone.

CONFESSION: I have never played lotto either (hate to pay to lose):sad2:

iphone smilies: download a free app for emoji's or emoticons and then go into settings and go under "general" then select "keyboard" and then scroll down and select the one that says emoji or emoticons.:)

If it's wrong, then I am guilty too!:ssst:

I want to price out some other trips with the free dining pin. However, I called and booked fd on the phone but still never received my pin code. Can someone send me their email so I can price things out or do I need to call them and just get quotes over the phone? I would rather do it on my time. I am NOT booking anything, I just want to price things out. Window shop if you will...lol.

Add in another crazy who is obsessively checking her mailbox and email. :wave2:

My best friend is going to Disney in September for free dining. Wouldn't you know she got my sought after October PIN yesterday? Torture.

I'm still hanging in there and hoping for something (anything!) for our trip in October. I've talked to some wonderful phone reps, but so far no magic pixie dust has blown my way. Hopefully soon! (For all of us!)

Heck, I buy special clothes for the trips so that they can't ruin them ahead of time :rotfl::rotfl: That and I want to pack WAYYYYY ahead of time. I seriously need therapy :lmao::lmao:

Me too! I am really bad. I am already planning her outfits based on park. Ex: lion king shirt and a bug skirt. Even crazier is that I am making a lot of her clothes.

I'd pack now if I could but we're not going until October. But I already have my park bag started with everyone's spending money giftcards, video camera, autograph books, water flavor packets, and the spray fan we bought in disney ladt year.

I also don't play the lottery. Extremely unlucky, I'd scratch off a ticket and owe them money lol!

This trip planning has been so stressful. Been trying for PIN, no luck. Then I ended up having to have surgery in May, went complicated during it and went from laparoscopic to major open surgery. Then didn't know if we'd get to go to Disney as I had to use almost all my saved days off from work being off 4-6 weeks recovering, not to mention the bills that are rolling in each day. Begged my Dr to let me go back next week so I could still have enough days for Disney in Oct.

Still hurting and sore, but by Goofy I'm going to disney if I've got to crawl. We've been planning and saving for 3 years, and it'll be our first trip alone just me and my DH. We've always went with my Mom, family etc. so we want to celebrate our 18 anniversary at Disney, alone. But I have to say that luck and pixie dust has not been with us and everything has conspired against us getting to go.

There have been a lot of us September peeps getting the PIN (that we do NOT need) so the good news is, maybe occupancy will still be low for Oct and the rest of the year and Free Dining will be open to ALL!! Only fair, right?;)

I make all of my daughter's clothes too :) Her customs are one of my favorite parts of the trips. One day my DH and son's all have matching shirts that I make them too. They get a kick out of it. My DH can't tkae more than one day of it though...:rotfl2:

You should be able to do some pricing on Disney website. Just put in how many adults & children, how many days for park tickets (+ whatever ticket options you want). Assuming the pricing does not include any ticket or room discount, that would be the price if you got free dining plan.
I've done some price comparisons before for other trips. I'd start by pricing out the trip using 1 set of options & put the info into a spreadsheet. Then I'd do the pricing w/ different options, enter that info into spreadsheet & so on. I could play with the numbers by adding/deleting the various options, discounts, etc. I also had my daughter's entire wedding planned out in a spreadsheet and a friend's baby shower, too. (I'm an accountant, what can I say? LOL)

Awww! I am sorry to hear that news, but sound like you're a trooper and I love your "we are going to Disney, come heck or high water" attitude. Sending Pixie dust your way!pixiedust:
