I Then I ended up having to have surgery in May, went complicated during it and went from laparoscopic to major open surgery.

Still hurting and sore, but by Goofy I'm going to disney if I've got to crawl.

Makes me put my problems into perspective. I hope you have a speedy and complete recovery and i hope you get that pin code!

But you're right - DWP will get you through & we are all in here to support not only our Disney addiction ... errr, make that enthuiasm ... and each other, too!

After reading a few of your posts, I see you haven't received the pin yet either. Made that long walk to the mailbox and of course nothing. Called last night and she said she needed to update my info. I asked why because they already have my email and my address but our ress. shows a my email but my mother's address. I've called at least three times prior and each cm repeated back my correct mailing address. I don't think I'm ment to get this pin. I'm better off trying to get excited about the visa/gp offer. I think the week we picked has a good shot of a gp offer.(11/11-11/17)Did they offer pins last fall? Did anyone last year go just as crazy as we seem to be right now?

This is how I feel. I've kind of given up hope of getting a pin - I feel like I should have had one by now if we were going to get one. My dh keeps getting the "look at the resort pictures" email from DD everyday and when I check his email my heart about stops until I read the subject line. Then my mil called yesterday and said we had some mail from "Busch Gardens" - I just about fell out. We don't get mail from BG so I knew it was from WDW. I had my dd run over and get it and come to find out it was two planning dvds I didn't request. I wonder if the cm's I spoke with while checking for a pin requested them for us thinking it may trigger a pin? Oh well, I'm hoping maybe we'll find out something about a visa/gp release soon, at least I have that hope

I also don't play the lottery. Extremely unlucky, I'd scratch off a ticket and owe them money lol!

This trip planning has been so stressful. Been trying for PIN, no luck. Then I ended up having to have surgery in May, went complicated during it and went from laparoscopic to major open surgery. Then didn't know if we'd get to go to Disney as I had to use almost all my saved days off from work being off 4-6 weeks recovering, not to mention the bills that are rolling in each day. Begged my Dr to let me go back next week so I could still have enough days for Disney in Oct.

Still hurting and sore, but by Goofy I'm going to disney if I've got to crawl. We've been planning and saving for 3 years, and it'll be our first trip alone just me and my DH. We've always went with my Mom, family etc. so we want to celebrate our 18 anniversary at Disney, alone. But I have to say that luck and pixie dust has not been with us and everything has conspired against us getting to go.

I know what you are saying! Last year my DH and I made our plans to go to WDW for the first time alone! We went in September! 2 weeks prior to us leaving I broke my toe at work! My foot was so sore and swollen but I was determined to make this trip! WE DID! We spent a lot more time back at the resort then we wanted to but all that walking was making my foot and the swelling much much worse. But we made it!

This year we are trying it again, hopefully no more injuries or sickness,

It was so nice just the two of us and we are going to be celebrating our 30th anniversary! Cannot wait!! Plus I have a surprise for DH when we arrive!!

11-11 is the first day of the free dining offer for November so if they are open to the public you have the perfect dates

My ress. for now is 11/10-11/16 but when I saw the dates of the pin I have enough room to move my dates a little. Since I have to arrive on the 10th due to a bday celabration I was going to do a ro at one of the value resort's then move to POR on the 11th. I have the first two weeks of November as vacation time and was originally going the first week till I found out that was Jersey week which usually is blacked out for potential discounts.

I'd pack now if I could but we're not going until October. But I already have my park bag started with everyone's spending money giftcards, video camera, autograph books, water flavor packets, and the spray fan we bought in disney ladt year.

My dh actually bought all new shirts for the trip and has them on his closet ready to pack. He is more obsessed than I am.

My DH laughs at how organized I can be, or neurotic, but he appreciates it when I have everything we need. I just need to remember to put sun block in my bag. I forgot to put it in there last year and bought a can for the price of 2 at MK....lesson learned. Lol

Mine would take some serious convincing. I'm not even sure if the it'll make me and the kids happy thing will work. It's that whole money thing. I still haven't found that money tree to plant in my back yard. Lol

It's a money thing here too but until our cars blow up I can save monthly. It is only the two of us. I wouldn't be able to pull that happy thing off if we had kids.
