Completely off topic, but this is my first disney trip as a mom. My daughter will be almost 4 when we go. What is your "must "items to bring. Also my first time flying to Disney.

How exciting!! Hope you and your daughter have a wonderful trip!

We always bring our own nightlight. Even if a hotel has built in bathroom nightlights, it's not always were we'd like it to be. When our girls were little we brought a bunch of the little plastic play figurines and a few matchbox size cars. We'd pull them out as sort of "emergency" toys on the plane, in a restaurant, or in line when a kid was getting ready to melt. Someone recommended wrapping them, tightly, - which added a little more excitement and occupied them a bit longer.

Why oh why can I not get that darn pin???? Some days I feel extra sad about it and today is one of those days. Other days I just try to pretend it doesn't exist and just go on with my day. But no matter which kind of day I am having, I have to come on here and look to see if there is any new news on a public discount. Sure I know nothing is likely to even be leaked before early July, but I just can't control myself.

So glad to have found the other crazies like me! Before yesterday I was doing the same thing as you. I was going nuts and since I am off for the summer ( I work in a school) I felt like it was consuming my every thought!

Congrats and i totally get the countdown but i am wishing the summer away a little . Our trip is in sept it seems so far away.

I totally understand this Debbie. This is the only time in over 60 years that I will wish for summer to hurry up so it will be September & time for our Disney trip - and I absolutely HATE cold weather! I'm not obsessing about going to Disney. No, of course I'm not [much].

Just PIN codes right now for these dates:

For arrivals most nights 8/2510/2/13,
10/1810/31/13, 11/1111/23/13,
11/3012/4/13 and 12/1512/22/13.

Book by 8/14/13

Lots of people here on the DIS think that if there is a GP offer for FD it will be close to these dates. Usually Fall FD is released in July or August. There have been rumors that there might be a new offer around June 17th.

Keep following here, there will be something posted just before a new offer.

Plenty of hand sanitizer/wipes. Easy to "lose" them and the last thing you want is a sick little princess.

Ok--I went to the mailbox yesterday and I had TWO items from Disney Destinations! One was brown and bulkier and the other was yellow/multicolored and smaller, so in my mind that must be my PIN at last...no pin, just a price comparison for various resort levels of what it would cost to go in October. The brown was our personalized maps, which are nice, but I really was thinking PIN! I then called--nothing! I am in the beginning stages of disparity.

My kids last day of school is monday. I can't wait until summers over. I live my kids and spending quality time with them but school starting back up indicates our Disney trip is sooooo close!
