Feb. Member Event at Doorway to Dreams (Updated p.11 with incentives)

Got the postcard today. Way less number of sessions this time around, only one each day.
We are signed up for the 10am on 2/21.
Anyone know what the "Play along during the show through state-of-the-art technology" means?

If we are not quite members yet... We have passed ROFR, and are waiting to close, but are not in Disney's system yet, can we come to this event? Would we just call up and ask to be added?

Who would we call?

I can't go. I have a case of addonitis that is in remission right now. I can't afford another battle with that and a "special event" might cause it to flare up something horrible.

Yay! We did get the mailing. We are going on Friday night. Does anybody know how long it usually lasts? I'm going to have my kids with me and didn't know if it would be a late night. I was disappointed that Sunday's time was at night. I was hoping that it would be afternoon...oh well.

Received my invite in the mail yesterday, sigined up for the Saturday morning time. It's nice for the kids to see the characters and a chance to win something perhaps....
Would love to add on but this economy is really freaking me out. We'll see.
What were the exacts on the incentives currently???

This event isn't just for memebers. I am not a member and I got invited. I was there after Christmas and toured the BLT model and told the guide I was looking around tax time to buy with my tax return.

Oh, I'm sure its not!! They'll take anyone's money!! I just know my guide said something about me being a member so here is the website?? Guess we will try to go Sunday evening. We never did get a postcard so not sure if it explains the event any better. Hope my kids won't mind staying up late on a Sunday night! (We live in NW Indiana)

So even though I am a member now... We are just waiting on Disney putting on in the system, we have offically closed, do you think it matters which one I go to? The times for the non-member work ALOT better for us!!!

Does anyone know what kind of incentives they have given in the past so that this is "a great event". I am trying to decide if it is worth the effort to get to Shaumburg in the middle of Feb. I want to see the BLT models before we buy and I think it would be a lot warmer in Disney! But if these incentives are much better then maybe I should consider it. Any guesses??

I registered for Sunday evening, but before I could print my confirmation, my browser crashed --- I printed the e-mail I received - will that be enough. I don't want to drive all the way out there and get turned away on a technicality - with kids in tow...

I got mine earlier this week and I RSVP'd for Sunday eve at 7pm. We always like to go to the events. They give you a little "Disney boost". We'll be there Sun eve so we'll see some of you there!

viperlarson - they had a similar event last year and we went to the non-member one since the times worked much better for us. From my understanding they do more of the "info" about points and usage and the incentives they tell you about are for new members - they WILL still help existing members though.

I'm hoping this year we can go to the members event because it does sound like they have more "fun" than just the informational sell.
