Feb. Member Event at Doorway to Dreams (Updated p.11 with incentives)

I wish I knew what the incentive is...... I would love a little BLT!! But first need to dump my vero beach! I think a GOOD incentive will convince my dh then to go!

I sold off 140 Vero points but only bought 30 BLT points. Oh well, at least my total member fees went way down.

I just feel more comfortable with 440 points in this economy than with 550. Maybe the good deals are coming followed by the good times.

Sorry, I don't understand the reasoning behind this. Can't you stay at BLT even with your Vero points? Did you do it for a better booking window?

Can someone tell me where the entrance to the Improv is? On Woodfield's website it says it's on the upper level across from the Chase bank but it's store number is for the lower level. Is there an upper level entrance that leads to the lower level club? It would appear to me that it is where (going back about 35 years) the ice rink was when that wing was originally opened.

yeah you can but the improvment fees are sooooo high at vb that I would like something a little cheaper!!

White Sox Fan...the entrance is outdoors, upper level, roughly midway between Lord and Taylor and PF Changs. Once you enter from the outside, you go downstairs to the comedy club.

Yes, that and member fees of 3.70/point instead of $6.41/point.

I own 150 points at Old Key West and 255 at Saratoga Springs. Would there be cheaper fees if I were to sell/rebuy at a different DVC?

We just got out mailed invite yesterday. I called the # on it today and it was someone else's toll free number! He said he gets Disney calls all the time. Wanted to go on Saturday but it's full according to the on-line registration (that's why I was trying to call). I called member services to see if they could give me another number and she didn't know anything about this, so she put me on hold to try and find out some info. She said they didn't send this out but maybe my guide did. Any idea who sends these? I wouldn't think it would be the guides. I went on-line and signed up for Thurs. nite.

It says Disney Characters, walk through a model of BLT, Play along during the show through state of the art technology, sweet dessert reception and the best part......exciting giveaways and surprises!

We went in August and thought the promotions were the best we had seen since Wilderness Lodge. Alot of fun and a nice way to spend a few hours even if you don't sign on for additional points!

At the event in August last year, they gave away nice toiletry bags, each person rec'd one, even the little one! Mine has been to Disney twice already, works great! Had DTD logo on it, they were black.
We are going to the Sat afternoon one...I could probably talk DH into adding on, IF I hadnt already talked him into the NCL Pearl to Alaska cruise next May! lol

Well, I've been spending all my time on the WISH board and not enough here obviously. I just got my mailing today, and the only time slot available is Sunday night. I have to work Fri, Sat, and Sun, so I can't go! Thursday night would have been perfect because the kids don't have school on Friday. On the first page of registration it says there is limited availability on Thurs., but when I try to register it only offers me Sunday.
