Feb. Member Event at Doorway to Dreams (Updated p.11 with incentives)

Yes, last time they gave away a trip and also had some special incentives that involved Adventures by Disney. Not sure if those incentives were ever made available to the public or if it was just for those who attended.

Of course that's the weekend we're already busy - trying to fit it in somehow!

We got our email invite today! We are attending the Sat 4pm presentation.

We went to the last one in August, DD2 had THE best time with the characters!
Highly doubt we may add on, but fun events!

I can't go. I have a case of addonitis that is in remission right now. I can't afford another battle with that and a "special event" might cause it to flare up something horrible.

But they have a discounted rate at Embassy Suites for out of town guests

My guide said it should last about an hour.

We went to an event here last August..you checked in, there was an open bar...an app table...presentation folders were already at the tables....They discussed Disney Parks news, DVC, there were raffles, discussed incentives, characters came out.....It was longer than an hour...I referred to it as a Free Disney Night Out! lol

we are all going saturday at 10:00. our 2 boys are excited. we won't be adding on, but are looking forward to seeing the characters and everyone else in the dvc family!

Hmm, we jsut got our invite email today, and the only Sat times that were listed were 4 and 7...wonder if it means they are getting a larger turn out than expected?
Or perhaps do they have more than one list..we have visisted DTD many times, and attended an event....

This confused me too! I kept seeing different times and different links on these boards.

The Thursday, Friday Sunday @ 7 PM and Saturday @ 10 AM are for current DVC owners. The other times are for non members. I had to call yesterday because the Sunday afternoon worked better for us. They said it was fine to go to the non-member time even though we are members...they will go into more details, but all the activities will be the same.

In August, everyone was handed a neat DTD toiletry bag! Have used it twice in Disney already! Even DD2 got one!

This isn't fair! This is the second event that we have not received an invite to! We bought at the grand opening of Doorway to Dreams, so we're in their system, and we were at last summer's event (I just went and replied to the link that I found posted here). I'm going to have to just invite myself again this time. I wish I knew why they don't send us things!

I got mine earlier this week and I RSVP'd for Sunday eve at 7pm. We always like to go to the events. They give you a little "Disney boost". We'll be there Sun eve so we'll see some of you there!

Got my invite in the mail yesterday - and I don't even own DVC yet But I did sign up to get some information from them online.

Trying to convince DW to let us sign up and attend the event, will have to work some "magic" this weekend...........

Usually its trying to get the DH's!! lol Magic works....it took a few months for me, but I got him onboard prior to our Labor Day 07 trip, once he saw his little DD having the time of her life (she was 14mths then) at MK...that was it!

Attend the event! Just get her to Woodfield Mall.....then let them do their thing!

We are going to the Sunday night session - hoping for a different incentive than the cruise or DP expiring 10/3. (Can't go during the cruise offering times - school - and have a trip planned starting 10/9!) Maybe we could go in late August, but then probably can't also do October (and we were hoping to get to MNSSHP then). But, really want BLT points.
