Thank you all very much for the positive thoughts & prayers. Per the surgeon, "could not have gone any better and that she did great" to which I thought at what tearing up her knee multiple times ;) She had two nerve blocks on the knee / leg when we brought her home which have now worn off and pain is pretty high despite us starting her on the pain meds yesterday. Here is her bionic leg along with a video clip that explains with a model (non gross) what the operation was. Thanks again guys for all the good vibes and support

Glad to hear it went well and that is one wicked looking brace.

Darcy, I predict you will be posting the number "2" on Facebook in about 15 minutes... although it would make more sense if you posted #6

I thought about just continuing the count but I thought that may sound a little cocky. :lmao:

Posting pictures about your vacation sounds fine. If others have problems with it, then they don't have to view your posts.

Well of course, I mean beer + campfires and beer + great outdoors = great pic opportunities

Arrived at the hotel at 1935 hours..So we did 1225 miles in 18 hours and 4 minutes with three gas stops. Yes I am an engineer. Only traffic issues on the south end of the eastern spur of Jacksonville beltway.. Hey Fed..good dope on 295. Only issue is wife hates big bridges and she was driving that leg.
Wow, that is impressive!

Greetings from Northern Poland! Things are going great so far here. It's weird getting used to the amount of daylight. The sun sets about 8:30 and rises sharply at 4:15 am. The lakes are beautiful and the fish are in abundance!

Talk to you guys soon.

I didn't realize it was that far north. Thanks for the updates.

'Morning all...

Don't comprehend this. Baby Ruth not good? Blasphemy.

Well I am a blasphemer.
For me caramel type bars tend to be rather tough and chewy, peanuts are my least favorite nut and milk chocolate is almost too sweet to even get down. I find most industrial candy bars are way too sweet in general. Now, if the thing were made with a whipped nugget, rolled in cashews, almonds, walnuts or pecans (or all of them) and then covered in dark chocolate at 65% cacao or higher , then I’d have a hard time ignoring it.

Nicely done. Enjoy your time in the Kingdom!
Have a dole Whip for the rest of us.

Glad it’s going well.
Have you met the kids yet?

Morning Guys, happy hump day!!

Oh and just to give an update, the Montreal Canadians are leading the Boston Bruins 2 to 1 in the series.

Go Habs!!

Good morning guys and thanks again for the support on DD's surgery. Have a great day and we are almost at the half way point.

Thanks for the update and glad things are going well - as others have said previously, those are some blessed kids as a result of you and your family.

My Blackhawks did not fare to well last night but kind of anticipated it since they were on a 6 game playoff winning streak - they were gonna loose at some point.

I wish we could play one of the 7:00 games..:faint:

Hey dads. Missed pages. Prayers and praise all around. Enjoy the World if you're there.

I'm on the way to New Orleans. If any dads are there, let me know and the first round is on me.

:headache::mad::headache: Turned it off at 2-0. I'm still trying to figure out what our strategy is.......other than showing how well we come back from a 2 goal deficit.

Just purchased my MNSSHP tickets for October this morning.:cool1::cool1::cool1:

They are on the site and on sale for those that have been waiting.
