That has happened to me several times as well... I think we should be part time Disney travel agents!

Think of all the research we would have to do!
One of the doctors that I work with is getting off the Dream the day we board.....he was asking me who I booked with and it turns out he didn't get any sort of onboard credit. I need to hook him up with the Disboards!

Haven't had a chance to read the posts but I'll be on this cruise. It's my first one.

This is our first cruise as well, and we just planned it in the last few weeks. We are so excited! I'll be with DH, DD, 8, DS, 8 (twins), and DS, 5. Are we too late to join the meet and greet? I have not had a chance to catch up on the posts, either. I just now found this forum. Is it too late to join the FE? I love creative stuff!

I think I'll be the only one on the list for right now (my name is Kristin). I am so exited for this cruise! I've wanted to go on one since i was little.can't believe it's in a couple of weeks!

What we did on our last cruise was add people "unofficially" who joined after the cutoff date. That way they could participate, and if others had extras they would give, but no one was obligated if they'd already finalized their purchasing/crafting/whatever at the cutoff date.

Guess we could start a Latecomers List!

I tried to add us to the current list as latecomers, - just trying to help - not be too forward - I hope that's ok. I will be in the second group and will participate with the first group since we wanted to join on July 2 we just missed the first cutoff. I understand if the first group cannot include us. It's our first cruise and we are very excited!

Our names Annette (actually named after the Original Mouseketeer!), Mark and children: Jennifer 8 Michael 8 (twins), and Joseph 5,. I'll have to tell you the cabin number later because I don't have it right now, but it is Deck 6 sortof aft & I think starboard.

Maybe for those that have already finished we could say as long as there is SOMETHING in the late comers FE it is all good.....meaning it could be something as easy as some candy. This way the people who want to add on can, but those people who are done don't have to stress out. It's more about the fun then the actual gift.

I'm with you, Denise We'll make some extras. (Although the purchased stuff I have exactly 25, so only 2 more latecomers get those! lol)

As it stands I have to re-do about 1/2 the stuff I already "crafted", as my husband assures me no one will be my friend if I give them ugly FE gifts! HA!

I am SO looking forward to tomorrow - my coworker who got us hooked on Disney cruises is on the Dream Double Dip right now and will get off tomorrow. He has been pestering me for MONTHS, literally every single day, with how many days until his cruise. Cannot WAIT to start my countdown for him! 37 days tomorrow!!!

Everyone is so nice! Is it one gift per cabin? Do we have any type of ground rules? I'd love to get started looking for things.

It is really up to the person giving the gift what they want to give. Some people give one gift for the entire cabin, others give gift to each person and some just concentrate on the kids when the cabins has kids. It's just a blast putting the gifts in the FE thing (what ever call it) and also fun going back to the cabin and getting gifts.....Kids loved it last time around
