August 10, 2012 Disney Dream

OMG Now that you added the picture with the Mickey ears... All the free babysitting you can get! LOVE IT - so cute!!!

Yeah he is our little cutie pie! He will look forward to meeting you! When we were thinking of infant pics we just had to go with a Disney theme!

I think we may be Disneyaholics... Oh well, I can live with that! Here is another from that set.

Just got our stateroom #.It's an accessible room so not to sure of just 1 big bathroom (not the 2 we were expecting) but I think the size of the room will make up for that!! Greg M the pictures of Ryder are precious..DD just went crazy over the pic!!:goodvibes

The size will help but I am pretty sure Cristy would make me shower in the sink if we only had one bathroom so I hope everything works out for you!

Thank you!! He takes after dear old dad LOL!

Excellent! Our kids are excited but a little nervous just because it's different. They are 4 and 5 but usually will do anything in the world as long as they're together. I can't even fathom a beach day (or even hour!) with my husband and no kids - can't wait!!!

(Ugh, can't believe I just said my baby is 4 - his birthday is the day before the cruise and I'm trying to adjust to having no more "babies"... No fun! I need to soak up the last 48 days of having a 3-year-old!)

I would agree that your kids will love it. Our last Disney Cruise was 6 years ago when my son was 5. We hardly saw him the entire 7 day cruise. Every time we would check on him, he would tell us that he did not want to leave. At Castaway Cay, we were able to go snorkling and not worry about him at all. He had a terrific time. At the end of the cruise he told us that he wanted to live on the Disney Cruise ship.

I know what you mean about your kids growing up. It happens all too fast. My "baby" is now 11, and my first will be a senior in high school in the fall. How does that happen?

Very cute pictures!! He is obviously a Disney fan by birthright!

OMG what a cute baby and what special pictures. I can just imagine how many pics you will take on the cruise with all the Disney stuff surrounding you. Are we having a M & G so we can meet this darling boy?

Sounds great to me! 4 of us - Leah, Joe, 5yo daughter Colby, and 4yo son Elliott. I'll bring print outs of the FE list for anyone who wants them, and probably maps too.

Spent the day shopping at 3 different stores (which was a blast with my little angels... NOT!) for the last of the FE supplies. I can start now, right?! Generally I'm not the craftiest, so I'll just ask for forgiveness for any imperfections in advance =D

Thanks Joanna! We would love to be on the list. I tried contacting Disney about using a room/place for a meet and greet after sail away but before the sail away party (as I thought that would be the best time before all the fun begins on the ship and everyone goes their separate ways), but they have not responded yet. I don't know anything about the ship, so if you think meeting at the Vista Cafe would work, then it sounds good to me!

That was smart of you to contact Disney..Let me know what they say when you have time...Y'all are on the list now..Do you know what time we actually sail away? The Vista is one floor above the Atrium and it's cool!! That's why I thought so many other people choose it for their M&G..

I don't know anything about the ship, so if you and others who are "in the know" think the Vista is a good place to meet, then it sounds good to me! If Disney gets back to me about this then I'll let you know. I'm guessing they will wait until closer to the sail date before getting back to me, if they will get back to me.

Count us in for the M&G as well. Other option for area to meet could be in the District Area, as it is deserted the first afternoon, and Disney may cordon off and/or staff one of the bars, if there are enough people.

I thought the drill is at 4, and we sail during the sail away party that starts at 4:45?

We have been doing some FE meets without any problem on the Magic in Sessionsbar in the afternoon...We didn't make any reservations...just picked a time and place, and Voila...the Meet was a fact :thumbsup2

This was our experience too!

I've added you all ...We are up to 59 people!Woo Hoo
The District area sounds good to me because I realized the Vista Cafe is not a bar for those that wanted a drink...3:00 sounds good to me..Meet for 45 min and then head to the drill...

59 people! Hope my family is in that count~requested in over on Facebook. This is gonna be fun! :woohoo:
