I guess this should be my kick in the *** to vote...I would glady vote for one of the bottom three just to get that nerd off there..........

I voted the entire 2 hours for Will last week (which I honestly never do). Look what good that did me.

So the bottom 3 were Melissa, Ace and Lisa? Well if Melissa goes, at least one of my bottom 3 are gone.....

I was a huge Melissa fan, but knew she was gone as soon as the top 12 was finalized.

Remember, More than little kids vote for Kevin. He was the only one to receive my votes last night.

I, for one, was COMPLETELY SHOCKED at the bottom 3!!!!!!!!!! Actually not true, I was shocked at 2 out of the bottom 3. I figured Melissa would be there, although I like her very much. I'm NOT a fan of Ace, but could NOT BELIEVE he was in the bottom three!!! And I think Lisa has an EXCEPTIONALLY good voice, definitely better than Paris or Katherine, and I was floored she was in the bottom 3!! I was TOTALLY not expecting that whatsoever!! I thought, and was hoping, that Kevin would finally be outta there!! What a complete shock this evening!

I really don't think we need to personally attacking someone on the show because they have a speech impedement. It is possible that some on here have that same problem and by calling a person names that has a lisp it can cause some very hurt feelings. We get it that YOU don't like the kid...but some do, and not all of them are children.

Now off my soap box and back to the results. Not surprised by the bottom 3, not surprised by who was voted off. What did surprise me was how they just cut off the song and went to the next show....guess AI ran a bit long tonight!

Those upset by the bottom 3 and Kevin being safe should look on the bright side.

Ace and Lisa's fanbases SHOULD rally around them and step up their voting which will bring Bucky and Kevin towards the bottom 3. (My guess)

I cant believe Kevin isnt gone. Now it will be another week of Kevin all day every day all over the local radio and TV. The High Schools around here all vote for him (the girls anyway) they think hes adorable. I'm guessing he wont be going any time soon. Chris on the other hand is just amazing. I'm so glad Bucky pulled through.

I knew Taylor would be safe but I wasn't so sure about Bucky and was happy to see he wasn't even in the bottom 3.

I was shocked. Didn't see Ace or Lisa in there. When it came down to Lisa and Bucky I just kept saying, it's Bucky, like we don't know it's Bucky....then Ryan said it was LISA! I had to pick my jaw up off my bed.

I mean I'm glad about it though!! Definitely not a Lisa fan. Nothing like watching someone with the personality of a tree trunk sing!

Not sure when Kevin will be gone but it can't be soon enough.

I think this is wild, in high school I was attracted to HOT guys as compared to Kevin - the nerd!! I mean what ages are in high schools now? 9-10? This is insane???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Karen Carpenter had a noticable lisp when she sang.

I guess I just take it personally when I see a person being called a dork and a nerd and then crappy and his lisp is referenced by the same person that called him names. Personal for me because I have a 16 year old nephew with the same problem. He has worked long and hard to overcome this and I guess Kevin reminds me of him. My nephew has finally started coming into his own this year. He got a one line speaking spart in the school musical. I can't wait to see him up on stage...and I hope he shines!

I think it was the line "he's a total dweeb with a lisp" that got me a bit upset. I'd hate it if someone said that about my nephew. If you would have said "he's a total dweeb" I would have been fine.

I know he is no Idol, he is not a sex symbol...but he isn't the worst one on there either. JMO

I love Karen Carpenter....but her and Kevin - are no where near in the same league.....its a whole gammet of things..but he's trying to play up this sex symbol thing and whatever...regardless of his SPEECH he is not a singer.

OK some people are just going a little too far with the Kevin bashing. If you don't like his singing fine. But is it really necessary to keep talking about his lisp and his appearance? I just feel so bad for him, I hope he never reads some of the message boards. Some people can just be so cruel. I happen to like Kevin, but I really don't want him to last that long, because of all the bashing. I liked John Stevens, and I remember when he was finally voted off he was relieved! All because of the negativity that he got.

Anyways, on to tonights show. I honestly wasn't that shocked at the results tonight. I like Ace, but he really hasn't been doing well these past few weeks, so I think he deserved to be in the bottom three for a wakeup call. And Lisa, she definitely wasn't the worst last night, but she wasn't great either. And I know she doesn't have too big of a fanbase, so I wasn't surprised to see her there (although I would have preferred if it was Bucky). And of course it was obvious Melissa was going to be there, and I think pretty much everyone knew she was going to go home. She messed up in front of Stevie, and then messed up again during her performance, and her singing wasn't all too great either. Anyways, I hope next week it will be Bucky, but I really think he'll probably be around at least for a few more weeks.

Um did you forget Clay and Ruben? I loved Clay (not a big fan of Ruben's) but I can definitely say neither of them were all about the appearance. I don't think either of them would have made it past the first round if appearance was important.

And what about Taylor and Mandisa? They're two of the frontrunners this year and do you honestly think they look like your typical popstars?

And one more, let me add Elliot onto that list. And for that matter, Bucky (although I don't really think he's too great).
