Yay for not fainting on the plane!

I love ASMu for a value resort. Yes POP is more fun and the food court is better.... but ASMu is so quiet! Its my fave for adult only trips!

I can't believe how much you got to sample at F&W!! I don't think we did nearly as well! I LOVED the Dorothea too...yum yum!

I agree that especially with LwtL down... going into that pavillion just for Soarin is annoying!

Bus service to DTD pretty much stinks from everywhere...blech

sorry I got a bit behind in your TR...but I have had a fun catch up journey and you gave me two shout-outs...

I thought a lot of my DIS friends while on this trip....I never felt alone!!

You might be on to a really good idea there....hmmn. Can one really have a solo day (or an afternoon) on a trip with 8 other people? It sounds just lovely.

As Crissy said....Yes you can! Just as long as they are doing something that they enjoy at the same time I think it's a WIN - WIN.

My vote is for the Mary Poppins mug. Both are really nice, though, I love the silhouettes.

I feel like I'm learning so much from reading your trip report! You have some great suggestions for solo travelers. I'm not hinting, I swear, it's just something I thought of since your trip.

I happen to be having coffee with Mary this morning.

I can see another solo trip in my future. I have one friend that I think would like to go with me but I can't seem to get past not wanting to share a room.

The bride & groom Monchichi dolls are so tacky that I want them! Love it!

Are kids in Japan really still playing with those things????? I had a knock off one when I was a kid....ugly little things!

The wig on Aurora is just awful. With all the money Disney has, can't they come up with a better looking wig. Seriously, most of them are bad, but the Aurora ones always look the worst.

Aurora always wins the prize for worst wig.....when I saw her I was afraid that I would tell her that! Snow White and Alice seem to have the best. I wonder if they can't use human hair wigs because of the humidity????

Too bad you didn't like Pina Colava, I loved the ones I had. Have you had a non-alcoholic one before? I might have to get one of those in January because I really like them but can't have alcohol anymore since my surgery.

I had the non-alcholic one in 2008 and again later on this trip and enjoyed them very much!

I have to tell you a funny story! My husband was in Orlando this week on business, he is home today. (I know, how could he not take me? right? Well, we just got back from Europe so I had to work.) Anyway, I told him about your cool mugs that you posted, the Mary Poppins and Peter Pan mugs on the phone this week. Anyway, he went to DTD to get me the Peter Pan one! Isnt' that the sweetest thing? I just had to share that with you!

Great update, as usual. I'm another one who loves me some time at DTD. It never seems like I have enough time there! WPE looks like a great place to try. I didn't even know they served breakfast there, and it's great to know they do take out now.

WPE is open for breakfast 9am to 11am. EOS is open for breakfast at 830am

Good to hear an honest review of the sucky bus system. 45 minutes is ridiculous to go about what? 5 miles?

DTD is really the only consistently BAD bus service at Disney that I have found. Yes you get pockets of suckiness from time to time other places but getting out of DTD is never quick in my experience.

Although the sandwich looked good, the bread did look kinda thick. Dry and no taste too, bummer!

Interesting you liked the no-booze drink better. I wonder if they make them differently, or if it's just the wrong flavors for the alcohol?

I think it was cheap rum.

You aren't kidding about doing some damage at Downtown Disney! What all did you buy?

That pizza was to die for! I saw some of their other breakfast dishes and they all looked delish and big!

I can't remember everything that I got but I know I got a watch and 2 t-shirts for myself (I actually found shirts that I liked in big girl sizes so I had to get a couple!). I got Danica a t-shirt and a sweatshirt for summer. Liam got a t-shirt, some cars, a bus and DH got a fancy workout shirt.

I'll post more replies later.....I have french toast to make!

I read two books in 5 days.

The Disney Visa discount is now good at all Disney owned shops, even in the parks. Still the $50 min. and you have to ask for it.

The Marketplace side is open for shopping at 930am everyday. WPE opens at 9am, EOS (limited menu) opens at 830am

hmmm can you take the water taxi from DTD to say POFQ and then hop a bus to Epcot and take the monorail to TTC and then hop the monorail to CR and then walk to BLT quicker than just taking a bus to BLT....
