Does anyone know if these allowed? I found this on Amazon. My husband is going though cancer treatment and is not able to stand up for long periods of time. It would be great if he could bring one and sit on it as we move through a line. Ive never seen anyone use one so Im assuming it's not allowed. I know the ECV is an option but he really doesn't want to use one. Just curious if anyone knows the rules. Here is an Amazon link for what I am talking about : https://a.co/d/4lpvxDj

This question pops occasionally. I believe the collapsible stool would be considered a "folding chair" which are prohibited. However, has he considered a "cane seat" which is now allowed? It's a cane (so considered a mobility device) and opens out into a tripod stool (usually, though there are some different models).

Speaking of using a cane in the park, what do you do with the cane, when you're riding rides? I haven't been to the parks, since I've been forced to use a cane most days.

It depends on the ride. If the ride doesn’t let you take it with you, then the CMs make sure the cane is in the area where the ride unloads. Staff are very helpful, they’ll help retrieve it if/when necessary.

I really like the idea of the cane seat. For my husband is it perfect. I found one that called a Ta-Da Chair walking stick/cane. its also very light weight.
