Wow - I had no idea this was so common. Two nights ago I made a house rule - NO MORE UNDERWEAR!!! Seeing as I'm the only female in the house, seeign those boxers everywhere was really getting to me. So house rule - NO MORE UNDERWEAR AROUND THE HOUSE!!
 I would rater see underwear than their package! Especially the boys (although I am sure you wouldn't mind your DH!)

Well,

It is approaching 1:00, and we still do not have total results, but it appears we have a margin we will not overcome, and our levy will fail. It will be a sad day for our school district, which has done everything right, but I guess the voters are just tired of additional tax.

All field trips will remain cancelled
22-28 MORE teachers will need to be cut
busing will be extremely curtailed
Pay to Participate fees will rise by 50%

AND it will probably be impossible to maintain student achievement with the loss of those teachers.

It is a sad day for our district :sad2:

Ohio needs another solution.

John - so sorry. Hugs going out to ya!

I wasn't a happy camper in PA with Eddie Rendelli getting governor again. Now - Lynn Swann wasn't the perfect choice either, but Eddie seems like this dirty cigar smoking slimey guy. Can't stand him.

My DH and I have the same reaction!!! We both voted for Swann. I agree that he wasn't an ideal candidate, but he was better than the incumbent! Rendell....was so busy with things other than his job!

So did the Democrats take over Washington? I have kiddie tv on this morning...I don't have a clue!

I guess I am going to get going. I need to straighten up this house! Later guys!

Hey, underwear would be a step up on the clothing chain.

Her crust was made from cheese!!!! Wow! That adds a whole new twist!

Don't forget that a number of us can combine our photopass numbers on one CD. I have to check on how many again. I can make copies of them & send them out. Let's get that together in the next couple weeks. :)

I was watching ABC too (well, it was on in the background) and heard that.... watch out, Rachel Ray will be making an appearance on this thread!

From what i've gathered in various cookbooks...The crust is treated as just a topping not the thing itself...

Ex: Chicken pot pie topped with biscuits
Chicken pot pie with flaky crust
Chicken pot pie with cheese

So Brandi I guess our PA version would win...ie that pot pie itself has no crust but can and maybe shoud be topped with various bread substances or other ingredients.

Thanks for all of the PD and good wishes - the situation is related to the current elections.

I work for the state legislature - nonpartisan staff that drafts bills, etc. About a week ago we were told at work not to buy any nonrefundable tickets for the holidays. (And who is just now getting around to buying tickets?) The followup was that all vacation time between now and Jan 7 is conditional. If we go into session after elections - no vacation time.

And after the election returns I know - the punch line today will be - we are going into lame duck session until January 7. So my choice is - give my 2 weeks notice, or cancel the cruise.

(Do I hear "quit quit quit" coming from these boards)

Will keep you posted - thanks for the PD :goodvibes

Suzanne

Oh that is horrible. But with the lame duck session, why do they even need to be in the office drafting bills?

I have to share an e-mail I just received....Brack...this is for you and Annette!

A minister was completing a
Temperance sermon. With great emphasis he said, "If I
had all the beer in the world, I'd take it and pour it into the
river."

With even greater emphasis he said, "And if I had
all the wine in the world, I'd take it and pour it into the river."
And then finally, shaking his fist in the air, he
said, "And if I had all the whiskey in the world,
I'd take it and pour it into the river."

Sermon complete, he sat down.

The song leader stood very cautiously and announced

with a smile, nearly laughing, "For our closing song,

let us sing Hymn #365, "Shall We Gather at the River."

Smile, life is too short not to !!
If this brightened your day
Don't let it stop here
Pass it on with a smile
Keep spreading the Cheer.
See you at the river

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao: :lmao:
