jimmy john's along with trying a new soup (for us)-Campbell's Chunky Creamy Chicken Cajun Style Alfredo With Andouille Sausage. the soup was very tasty (nice hit of heat), nice enough I took advantage of a sale on Amazon to order 8 cans to have on the shelf for cold winter nights

I directed the making of 2 quarts of garlic soup with fresh tumeric and lemon added. D., my home attendant did a great job of following the made up out of my head recipe and there is none left. I swear OTC drugs and curative soup have to do its job by Friday when I’ve an appt. getting Botox shot into my digital joints. Already asked the doc if he’s ever mistaken a face for a finger (hey, they both start with “f” ). I so don’t want to miss my Norma Desmond moment .

Costco run today, so that might inspire me.

We're still in the high 70s during the day. At least nights are colder.....the mid 40s

Went out to dinner tonight with DH and our oldest DS. DH and I each got shells with linguica (a Portuguese sausage) sauce. I added an Italian sausage link and he added a meatball. DS ordered a sampler with meatball, sausage, angel hair pasta and veal parmigiana. We haven't eaten at this restaurant in years but everything tasted the same as it always has. It hit the spot!

Oooh what restaurant was this? Worth trying?

We’re coming up on attending several holiday parties this week & weekend. So, I’ll dial it back on grocery visits until I need to get my shopping done for hosting Christmas Day!

Last night we all went our for Mexican food to celebrate our daughter's 43rd birthday. Her twin sister will be coming home for Christmas and we'll celebrate her birthday when she gets here.
Tonight our younger granddaughter is making grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup for dinner.

Oooh what restaurant was this? Worth trying?

It's Lorenzo's in Middleboro. It's more nostalgic for us since it's been there forever. Nothing really worth going out of your way for but a decent meal if you're in the neighborhood. We do like their linguica sauce and they make eggplant fingers that are good too. As a kid my parents would take us there and they had carhops that brought the food to the car and we ate in the parking lot. It was really fun. Sadly, they don't have carhop service anymore.

OMG!! My dad had a doctor’s appointment right near there on Monday. My mom was telling me they used to go there for pizza as a kid bc it was one of the only places around.
It was also my DH’s Pepere’s favorite.
I’ve been a few times.

I didn't post yesterday. But we had tacos with hamburger meat that was expiring, so we had to use it. Also had rice.

Tonight is YOYO night. We both have bible study and choir, and choir is a 2 hour practice tonight for our Christmas stuff on Sunday. So really not sure as we'll be at church from 5:50 until after 9 p.m.

Looks like we're taking my MIL out for dinner tonight. First we have to pick up a recliner we're borrowing so our younger son has somewhere to sleep while recuperating from shoulder surgery he's having Friday. It'll be a while before he'll be able to comfortably sleep in his bed, it sounds like.
