I posted an email response I got from resort planner earlier this week that confirms that the policy is 24 hours cancellation required for ADRs secured with credit card (or $10/pp penalty for most) and no cancellation policy (other than good citizenship) for those that don't require credit card...
I was confused and there was inconsistent information on this forum so I asked my hotel itinerary planner and this is their response:
The restaurants that you have booked that required a credit card guarantee are Be Our Guest and Le Cellier Steakhouse. They both have a 24 hour cancellation...
Just booked 7:40 for four. Still shows 4:15 and 9:10 as available and nothing any day other than 3/20. Hope there isn't a glitch. Really appreciate the heads up.
Well stay gold there ponyboy. Some folks actually have a tolerence limit. I don't really care if or why someone is joining a group if it is just one but to pretend that there aren't times when the crowds and jostling and weather conspire to make us a little grumpy sounds a little disingenuous.
Well they're not in line. I am the runner but never muscle into a line to meet up w/ my family. They just use the time I am gone to get FP to pick up a snack or shop a bit.
If there were 5 lines and now there are only going to be 4 I don't see how you can argue that will create a problem for the people in line. Hardly the same as going on vacation where all the work just stacks up until I get back and then it is only a problem for me.
BUT see - it DOES seem like you are sticking up for them. I can't imagine the number or rude and stupid they encounter each day but that is their job. The eye roll I would not like but it is probably forgivable in their circumstance. But to imply that the OP was stupid for being at the wrong...
but where does it end? I saw a thread earlier asking if you tip the satellite installer. Cripes! Should I tip the the plumber too? I mean, it is probably just the main plumbers assistant and I'm sure he makes less than me.
