Stacerita, Congratulations on starting!!! ww is a great program, you wll find success! It is hard to get started. It may take you the first week to get the points figured out, but it will still be less points than you were eating before. Hang in there.

Congratulations to all the losers!

Weigh day for me today :guilty: I'm up .6lbs. Wasn't a great week. Back to it today, eating withing points and actually tracking them!

Good luck to all!
Katy :sunny:

Katy, no sweat. Tracking is VERY important for the 'visual effect'. ;)

Have a GREAT WW Week everyone!! :sunny: :grouphug:

Today at WW, I had lost 2.2 more pounds for a total of 58.4 pounds lost since January 10th. Here's to hitting at least the 60 pound mark by Halloween!! :cool1:

Hi All - I (re)started WW yesterday - I'm at my heaviest point ever and need all the encouragement I can get - what better place to find it than with my fellow DISers!!! Anyway, I weigh in on Mondays, I'll be back to post my progress on Monday, but will be cheerleading :cheer2: for everyone else in the meantime!!!

Thanks,

Rebecca

Hi all! Wish I had time to catch up on the posts, but I barely have time to post. So here's hoping everyone is having a great week and if you are not hang in there!!! I weighed in tonight and I am down another .4, so in two weeks I have lost a half pound...argh! But it isn't a gain so I am okay. Talked to my leader as I am still staying on plan, just not losing like I was so she suggested I switch things up a little this week and see how it goes, so that is the plan for the week.

Keep strong all, we can do this, whether it is quickly or slowly we are on the path to a healthier us! Onward and downward!!!!

DEBBIE-You KNOW you're doing RIGHT! :thumbsup2 Let me/us know about the switching up thing - I think I might need that myself!

Remember your own words: "quickly or slowly". ;) The less you have to lose, the slower it takes, imho.

Note to ALL other WISHers: Debbie is MY mentor, from MY Day One! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes :woohoo: SHE has been MY online Leader!!! :yay:

I thinking "switching things up" can do wonders for your weight loss, whether it's with food or exercise. Good luck! :cheer2:

Just checking in and trying to get back on track. Have had a bad snack week at work- busy, stressful days with too much candy around. :guilty: I've been good in the evenings, but am not looking forward to weighin on friday. It's great to come hear and hear about all the awesome weight losses and indulge in the inspiration around here instead of the chocolate at work. Thanks to everyone, and keep up the great work!

KimRaye- you and Debbie (Tiggerlover as I know her) are both very motivating and supportive to all of us. It really helps. And admiring your 75 and 50 pounds clippies is very inspirational too. I'm hoping to hang out here for a good long time, and hope to change my clippie some day soon.

Okay Kim and Mikamah you guys have me blushing! Kim, we have been around the block on WISH for almost 3 years now (can it be that long?) and the admiration goes both ways. I am in awe of how you grasped WW in the beginning and ran all the way to goal. I appreciate your support, yours too, Mikamah and everyone else here. For me losing weight is a group effort and I wouldn't be as successful if all of you haven't supported me along the way. I have learned that this is a life process for me and I will need continued support for life and WISH is the perfect place to find that.

Welcome Rebecca! We have all been in your shoes and every successful weight loss story has a low point and a beginning. So glad you are here with us and I look forward to seeing you around the boards. We are all here to lend and give support as we can.

Will keep those who are interested in my change up posted next week after weigh in. Today I did change some things up and I did find myself a little hungry, but by the end of the day I am feeling satisfied and feel like the day was okay.

Onward and downward!!!! :grouphug:

PS - For those who asked about my car, Ford sent us a check covering the entire $600 repair today! :thumbsup2 They agreed it was all stuff covered under the warranty and since we were in an emergency situation we had to get the repair done where and when we did. So I am a happy camper. Still bummed it spoiled the end of our weekend but so happy I am not out $600!!! Thanks to all who asked.

Whatever it takes to motivate I am up for it and I am not limited to giving as I have been on the receiving end many times. It is amazing when you come to a bump in the road that there is always someone on WISH that can help pick you up and help you move forward.

To everyone here, we are all important and we all have something to give no matter what stage of the weight loss game we are at. This is my favorite thread as I always manage to gain some strength, inspiration or just a smile for my day from it.....gosh, look how long it has been around! Together we can make this a better journey. Keep up the great work.

And always remember....onward and downward!!! :grouphug:

She's MY mentor!!! ;) :thumbsup2 :goodvibes ALWAYS POSITIVE and, clearly better at speaking/writing than I am.

Thanks again, Debbie!!

At weighin today I was pleasantly surprised to be down 0.2. It's not much, but I was expecting a gain. It has motivated me this morning to keep on track, knowing that if I don't, I'll definitely be up next week. It's funny how some times when you lose even though you didn't follow program it can make you continue to overindulge. I'll think, " wow, I ate so many extra points and was still down, I can do it again this week." But I know that really doesn't work. And I only have 6 weeks til my vacation, so I need and want to stay on track.

You guys were talking about switching things up a bit. My SIL had egg beaters with salsa on toast for bkfst the other day, so I had that on a light english muffin to replace my boring old cereal, and it tasted so good. I'm going to try starting my day with that this week.

Have a wonderful weekend everybody. :cheer2:

I'm so glad to see so many new members. We can do this together!

There have been so many wonderful, inspirational posts. It really keeps me motivated. When I read of everyone's successes, I think I really can do this.
Thanks to everyone.

Had my weigh in today. Down 1.8! Down 12.4 since starting 6 weeks ago.

The week-ends can be so tough--so hang in there and keep journaling!

KATHINIOWA, congrats on your loss for the week, that is great! :thumbsup2 I do agree about weekends (and special events), and journaling helps to keep you on track and accountable!

mikamah, I know about those pleasant surprises and it is humbling in a way. You know you are bad, you expect the gain and there it is, a small loss. For me that is the kick in the pants to remind me the next week to be better. I've had two weeks in a row with small losses (.2 and .4) so hopefully this week will be better. But at the very least the small losses add up so any loss is a good loss.

Remember, words are mightier than the sword....repeat to yourself out loud, YES I CAN......YES I WILL!!!!!

Onward and downward!!!

I am going to be leaving in a few for my first weigh in since I started. Im nervous. Wish me luck.
