All of you are doing great and keeping me motivated. I like weighing in on
Saturday morning, that way I do my little splurge on the week end and I'm good to go Monday thru Friday. I am soo excited. :cheer2: I got my 25 lb magnet today :cool1: It's been a long time coming, but I still have alot more I could do to keep losing. More water, more excercise, more sticking with the program. But I keep telling myself I can have anything I want. I am changing my bad habits and I want to keep it off this time. No miracle diet for me! Just remember we didn't gain all this weight overnight, so we cann't expect to loose it overnight. We are not dieting, we are being good to ourselves! :sunny:

Doing the good luck dance for you, Stacerita!!!!!! :dance3:

kbmoo, congrats!
We are not dieting, we are being good to ourselves!
I like that one!!! Thanks for some more inspiration.

Congratulations Kbmoo!!!!! 25 pounds is quite an accomplishment!!! Keep up the great work!! :thumbsup2

Stacerita- Hope your weighin went well. Keep it up, it works.

:cool1: Did my first weigh in yesterday and I am down 4.3 pounds. :cool1:

Congrats kbmoo on losing 25 pounds! Way to go! Keep being good to yourself!

Hi all! Wish I had time to catch up on the posts, but I barely have time to post. So here's hoping everyone is having a great week and if you are not hang in there!!! I weighed in tonight and I am down another .4, so in two weeks I have lost a half pound...argh! But it isn't a gain so I am okay. Talked to my leader as I am still staying on plan, just not losing like I was so she suggested I switch things up a little this week and see how it goes, so that is the plan for the week.

Keep strong all, we can do this, whether it is quickly or slowly we are on the path to a healthier us! Onward and downward!!!!

My leader had a great insight to this. If you lose just .2 every week for a year, at the end of the year you will lose 10 lbs. She said you have to keep it in perspective and look at the big picture. Although admittedly .2 can be tough to take sometimes!!

OK guys, tomorrow will be my first weigh-in since I started. I had some trouble getting in the swing of things and staying on track. I think I did OK though - at least not too bad anyway. I did manage to drink all my water every day, so that is a huge improvement for me! Anyway, wish me luck - I weigh in tomorrow night at 6 PM, so I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow night!

Thanks!

Rebecca

Rebecca, Good Luck! :cheer2: Thanks for joining and sharing! :grouphug: Best WISHes!!! :thumbsup2

I weighed in today after being real good all weekend and was up the .2 that I was down last week when I expected a gain, so I'm looking at it as pretty much maintaining. I am still motivated to stay on track and am tracking every little thing that goes in my mouth. I have a baby shower on thursday and am saving my flex points for that, and will not go above that. I got my travel documents and magic express tags in the mail for my trip today!!!!! So that's extra motivation. Only 37 days to lose before we go. :)

Stacerita- Congratulations on an awesome loss!!!!!!

Rebecca- Welcome and good luck at weighin tonight.

Keep up the great work everyone. We can do this!!!!!!! :cheer2:

I guess that is a good way to look at it. A loss is a loss and I should be happy for that. It is just that some times you want the losses to be a little more. I would hate to have to wait a whole year to lose 10 more pounds....lol! But it is another way to look at success.....thanks!

Hang in there mikamah!!! Confucius once said, "It doesn't matter how slowly you go, just as long as you don't stop!" I am not sure what he was referring to, but I believe it can apply to our weight loss efforts. You can do this!!!!

Rebecca, how was your weigh in tonight?

OK, I know this is my first weigh in, and I know not to get used to this, but....

I LOST 3.4 LBS!!!!!!:cool1:

I was a little scared when I got there, it was tough getting into the swing of it at the beginning of the week, I was very happy though!!!!! Thanks for all the support - to be honest, I have more support here than at the WW boards! I couldn't have done it without you!!!

AWESOME loss!!!! Congratulations!!!!! :thumbsup2

I agree about the support at the WW boards, I didn't find it as encouraging as WISH so I stopped visiting there. I enjoy WISH so much more as there is more encouragement and support.

keep up the great work. Onward and downward!!!

ITA about the WW boards. I RARELY visit them. They can get snipey over there. :guilty:

WISH is Wonderful!! :grouphug: Stay here. ;)

I am here to report that changing things up a bit worked.....I weighed in tonight and there was 1.4 lbs. less of me!! A little more than 11 pounds until I reach my goal....woo hoo!!! I am worried with the holidays coming, but I am trying hard to stay focused. Would definitely like to see at least 3 more pounds gone by Thanksgiving, so that is my short term goal.

:cheer2: Keep up the great work one and all!!! We can do this!!!! :cheer2:

Onward and downward!!!

Congrats to you Becca!!! What a great first week!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Just stopped by to get some motivation before work. I used up quite a few flexpoints on the candy drawer at work yesterday, and want to stay out of it today. Looking at how great everyone is doing, I can do it too!!!!!!!!!

Have an wonderful losing day everyone!!!!!

Thanks Kim, thanks mik!

mik, I have a suggestion for your candy drawer at work. Why not buy some of Whitman's (Weight Watcher) candies, they are only 1 PT a piece and they have one that is like peppermint patty, one that is a yummy caramel cluster and one that is similar to a Mounds candy. This way you don't have to deprive yourself, however you can still enjoy chocolate like everyone else.

Has anyone tried that Pumpkin Cheesecake recipe in the WW magazine before? I'm not a pumpkin pie fan, but I love me some cheesecake. Just wondering if its yummy or not. And if its worth the points.

And congrats to all those who had a loss.
