people say red flips will be as rare as greeen flips soon it is a big fat lie and it has been confirmed not true and I also own about 34 pairs or used to now i own 2 because I gave them all away to people they will never be rare unless alot are deleted and i doubt it so why is this still going on any answers will help.

how dare you! You don't know what will happen. I have some 411, (of course I can't reveal my sources) but the possible uniform for an idea in the work shop is EARSMART. This program would help VMK security in game. The uniform may consist of red tank, red shorts, red sandals

People spread rumors all the time. Why, who knows, but in reality none of us truly know what will be "retired" or brought back at any given time.

Even if red flips would disappear tomorrow, they would never be as rare as green simply because so many are already in the game. Green were only available for a short time during the Beta phase and there were no where near as many players are there are now.


Rumors are just that - it's best not to put any trust in them.

well i think ppl are taking this WAY too far. it all started out as someone saying that red flips will be rare, just joking around. then someone overheard this, told ALL their friends and then all his friends told all their friends and so on....im sure that IF AND ONLY IF staff decides to change their out fit, then they may become rare IN TIME. so many people have them right now, it would be really hard to make them rare.

besides i dont even think that will happen....

Like Rooms being traded.....Yavn posted they are working on it and hopefully in the future will will be able to do that.


I read today someone posted that we will be able to trade them "soon",Yavn never said soon, he said they were working on it and have been for a long time. He never gave even a hint as to when or if for sure we will be able to do that.


So better not to post rumors at all.

I wouldn't believe either of these for a second. There is NO NEED WHATSOEVER for more security in the game. There is enough. There isn't a new program coming out, so dont go trading for red flips.

There are still people saying that some folks got unreleased items from a Help a Guest foundation, which isnt true, either.

Alls I know is, people seriously need to stop saying things like "red is the new green" or "blue is the new green".

I actually had a trade going for MONTHS...trying to meet this kid b/c she was trading "green flips" for BAT MAGIC. Turned out (at least what I think, in her pm's...she seems very young) that she has BLUE flips. she thought they were worth bat magic because she heard "blue is the new green".

Yavn says soon a lot and soon can mean anything from in the next 5 minutes to the next 5 years. Remember all the times he said magic carpet magic was coming out "soon" and to start saving your credits.

I think that two standard staff answers are soon and I don't know.

Someone needs to wake up and realise that this is a VIRTUAL GAME. You cannot 'kidnap' someone, VMK has made quite enough security that you cannot give nearly enough clues as to where you live to be kidnapped. People can pretend, you're overreacting.

Anyways, red flips flops will never be RARE, but they MIGHT be RETIRED. And if they were changing their uniform/costume, wouldn't you think they'd make it something completely new and unreleased to anyone else? That way, it'd be easy to spot them and nobody could impersonate them. And no, they wouldn't delete red flips from everyone's inventories, that'd be just plain rude.
