WHY is it cheaper to rent 2 mid-sized...

Cars to 1 mini van.. Did national EA and got 104.30 for 7 days for a mid sized car and then for a mini van I got 242.04.. that seems odd.. wonder why??

AND another question, can you rent a mid sized car on EA and if they don't have any mini van's on the isle can I have a back up ressie and go and pick that out or will I get charged for both?

It's just supply and demand for the time you want to rent. It's not always cheaper to rent two mid-size than one mini-van.

These days, there is seldom a mini-van (or even very many SUVs/full size) on the EA. Reserve what you need.

It is very possible that National will charge if you cancel late or don't show up for one of the reservations.

National stoped puting min-vans on the EA when too many people were making backup min-van reservations, with National or other agencies, and only planning on honoring the EA reservation if a min-van happened to be on the aisle.

I'ts supply and demand.

Read your reservation info or call National and ask. I book using my EA number and have never been charged for "not showing up" but you can check.
