Thanks for breakfast Donna!!

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

Amber- I'm sorry that your stressed. But I'm sure you'll love Florida (and going to WDW! You can come visit me! :teeth:)

Thanks for letting me vent. :grouphug: I feel that's all I do anymore though. :guilty:

I just tell myself things will work out.

Nicole, Mike did ask if I was going to visit all of you at WDW. I of course said YES! :teeth: WDW is just over an hour from my MIL's, so it will be easy to go there at least once a month.

it will work out Amber:hug:

but WOW...wdw in an hour:faint:  :cloud9: I have a drooling smilie somewhere:rolleyes1

I just got back from leaving Gracie at the vet.:sad1: She ate some chocolate yesterday and no one realized it until this morning. She threw up all over the house and when I let her out she went and laid under the swing and wouldn't come out. :sad2: She is very dehydrated and very pale so they have her on IV fluids right now. They can't tell me if she'll be alright or not right now. I came home to an empty house, no dog wagging her tail at the door. :sad1: Please say a little prayer for her. :sad1:

Oh, Lesa I'm sorry that Gracie is sick. Do you know how much she ate? Spohie ate at least a half of a batch of chocolate chip cookies one day. I'm surpirsed she didn't get sick...although she is 70lbs.

Amber, you do have a lot on your plate right now. Hang in there.:flower3:

Donna...thanks for the breakfast...yum!

Lesa: I hope Gracie is ok. I know how it is with pets - they are a pain in the behind, but they bring so much joy. Has she been taking "bad doggy" lessons from Ruby? ;)

Amber: Sorry to hear about your microwave. It does seem like things happen all at once, doesn't it? Just remember that this will all pass, and soon you'll be closer to your goal of moving to the Castle (as listed in your location) and you'll have your sweet baby boy with you - that's all that really matters. Everything else will work itself out. Try not to get too stressed.

Good Morning
Still, I am looking forward to living in FL (Brooksville for anyone keeping track :) ).

Have a great day all!

hi Amber!

I have actually been to Brooksville. (a long time ago) when I was in school we went to a camp there. it was really fun! It was a one week course about the woods, controlled burns, flora & fauna etc. it was really pretty!

I am home for lunch but Im going to read now! see you all later!

Thanks guys!
YM...Madison had gone to a chocolate birthday party over the weekend. They got to make chocolates and I think they said the amount of chocolate the kids brought home was about 3lbs. Now Maddie had eaten quite a bit and well so did I. Since Maddie was the last one eating it I don't know how much was left. I would say she ate at least a 1/2 lb if not a full lb.

I talked to the vet a bit ago. Gracie seems a little more perky than when I left her. So that's good. They tested her pancreas and it came back fine too. So they are hoping she was just severely dehydrated and had a big ole' tummy ache. I think I forgot to mention that on top of the chocolate yesterday she got the left over scrambled eggs and ham from dinner. :headache: So she's not out of the woods yet, but it is looking better. I'm still worried about my baby. :guilty:

Lesa, I'm so sorry about Gracie!!! I know what its like having to worry about your dog. Its gotten so I can't leave ANYTHING out but she still sometimes manages to be naughty! I hope she starts feeling better soon.

Amber- Trust me, I know how much the moving vans cost! I think its a little ridiculous :rolleyes1 That's why we are planning on shipping alot of stuff, but ofcourse we are throwing out most of our furniture so that idea probably wouldn't work for you. Don't worry- everything will work out!

Oh, Amber!! Good luck with your move. Try not to stress too much.
Yes, moving trucks are expensive. We found that out when we moved Gary's mom here from AZ. last year. We found that Penske had the better rates at the time.

Lesa:: I was so sorry to hear about Gracie. Sounds like good news from the vet. Hopefully, she'll be fit as a fiddle in no time at all.

I gotta say.....3lbs of chocolate is a LOT of chocolate!!! Why don't I ever get invited to the good parties?? :teeth:

lyzziesmom:: I hope Emma is doing better.
Woo-Hoo!! I noticed your trip ticker!! Lookin' good!!!:woohoo: :woohoo:

Hi!! pozey, Shannon, Nicole, DznyFan, Ashley and everyone!!!

Lesa keep us posted on Gracie! glad to hear she is doing a little better!

Ok...I have two more days left in my trip report. They are both MK days. You guys will get to see us in our lovely Christmas hats!:cool1:

Monday we had basically reserved for parades, wishes, and LTT dinner. We did sleep in a little bit this day for some much needed rest. I think we got over to MK around 10:30 and took the train back to Toontown...which was already crowded...but not too bad.

Ok, I'm not mad in this picture...I was just getting a late start on the coffee and the sun was in my eyes!:rotfl: The boys really enjoyed taking the boat from WL to Magic Kingdom. Anyone recognize my sweatshirt?

This is just a cute picture of DS in his Pluto Christmas hat. These hat were so neat...they light up but they were a little heavy!

The boys wanted to play on Donald's boat!
135-3511_IMG.jpg

We took a spin on Goofy's Barnstormer...I think we were in line here.

After that we headed to find a parade spot.
Casey's piano player...

The Christmas parade was great. I think it was about 40 minutes long! We had good seats along the curb on Main Street. We did have a family crowd into a tiny spot next to us so sorry about the heads. There were also a couple of cute little Asian girls who stood behind us eating ice cream. Let's just say my Micken jacket got a little gooey...but I kept myself in the Christmas spirit!;) :santa:

Grace is home. She still isn't back to her old self yet, but she looks a heck of a lot better than she did this morning. The vet said that as long as everything goes well through the night she will be fine.

It was pretty good chocolate, but with the cost of the vet bill I could have had some serious Godiva chocolate.:guilty: The party was held at a chocolate shop, and boy did they have some yummy looking stuff. I think I gained 5lbs on each thigh just walking in the place.;)

Lesa, I'm so sorry about Gracie!!! I know what its like having to worry about your dog. Its gotten so I can't leave ANYTHING out but she still sometimes manages to be naughty! I hope she starts feeling better soon.
I immediately thought of Ruby when I found out Gracie ate the chocolate. :rolleyes1 Bad Dogs!

Amber...

Hey everyone!

Lesa, glad to hear Gracie should be ok. I've had a couple dogs eat chocolate and they were all ok (this includes a boxer that ate several pounds of Easter candy :sad2: ).

Ashley, we plan on getting rid of some furniture, but not enough to have any effect on the truck (size and price). I will look at other companies (thanks for the suggestion Donna).

I had my doctor's appointment today. Once again my glucose levels and blood pressure were good (surprisingly, since Mike lost his job, my blood pressure has been lower). The non stress test went well. It was funny though, he moved so much (and away from the monitor) that they lost track of him a few times. Still, the doctor said he was a good baby. :) (Apparently, babies aren't that reactive befor 34 weeks; she was glad to see in active since I'm just over 32). I am scheduled for an ultrasound next week. I'm a little worried to hear what he's measuring though.

Lesa keep us posted on Gracie! glad to hear she is doing a little better!

Thank you! :) She must be feeling much better because the dogs next door just went out and started the nightly bark. She felt the need to join in.:headache: Definitely a good sign!:yay:

Woo-Hoo!! I'm glad I stuck around for awhile instead of starting the laundry!!:woohoo: :woohoo:

YourMajesty:: Love, love, love your trippy installment!!:yay: :yay: YES!! Those Mickey jackets are washable!!!:laundy: Great parade pics, BTW!!:thumbsup2

Lesa:: I'll keep my fingers crossed that Gracie has a good night. Barking with the neighborhood dogs is a good sign, I guess!!
The chocolate shop sounds yummy!!!

Amber:: Good news about your glucose levels and blood pressure!! I think Spencer was in a playful mood today!!!:goodvibes

Well, I really do need to get off the computer and do something procuctive. I'm starting to run out of clean jeans to wear. Have a great evening just in case I get lost in a sea of dirty clothes.:cool2:

Lesa - great news!! (not the vet bill, though) I'm so happy to hear that Gracie is feeling better.

Amber - more great news from the Doctor! Down the home stretch, kid!

YM - more great photos! :thumbsup2

We found out last night that they may be cancelling our choir's trip in March because so few have gotten the trip paid for. We'll know more on Monday.

Speaking of funny (well it wasn't at the time) doggy stories...
I have a giant, heeeyoooumongous, Golden Retriever. Not so fat, just tall - big. He came to live with us 4 years ago from Retriever rescue. He is a gorgeous Golden, but I think his mama was Clydesdale. Last fall (last last fall - 2006) I think it was, for some reason, I'd made cream puffs. Homemade - the outside, the bavarian cream, everything. He's pretty well behaved MOST of the time, but can get into things from time to time. These were sitting on the counter - all the way to the back of the counter - way out of reach. Or so I thought. I tend to forget that what would be way out of reach for a normal dog, even a Golden, is well within his reach. He ate the entire plate of cream puffs - 20? 24? I bet he had a bellyache!!! :rotfl:
