Feeling much better today, just all congested. Guess I'm well enough to go to work tomorrow...not like I have a choice with finals this week!

I've never tried Bare Essentials. It looks good but its sooo pricey, I just get Clinique. Maybe once I'm out of base I'll try Bare Essentials though. I forget who was saying they don't have a Sephora near them...but we have two in our mall, and one is inside J.C. Penny's, so maybe they will add one to yours!

It's 207.05 miles (from my house to Pop Century. That's the fastest place I can find a address for!) Not super close, but certainly close enough for a weekend trip! It's pretty straightforward after you get on the turnpike, just follow the signs until you get to Ft.Lauderdale!

When I lived in Coral Springs (the next town over from where Ashley will be) and I went to college at UCF (about 20 minutes away from WDW) I went home almost every weekend. My first class was not until Monday evening and my last class was on Thursday night, so I always had a long weekend. It took me exactly 3 hours. Of course I took a slightly different route than if I was going straight to WDW so that might have added on a little time. But if you factor in a stop for lunch and a potty break, it takes about 3 hours anyway. I usually took I95 instead of the turnpike because I didn't like paying so much for the turnpike and it wasn't really any faster.

Nicole, you must be getting SO excited! It's almost time to go - the next couple of weeks are going to drag by. I haven't really started packing "for real" yet, I just have a small pile of stuff that I know I want to bring and a few of the kids' shirts set aside. I won't let them wear stuff that I know I want to bring before then in case it doesn't get washed, I don't want to be doing laundry the night before we go because a certain item is still dirty!

Lin, your vacation sounds like a lot of fun! Is that one of those all-inclusive resorts? I've always wanted to go to one of those, the Beaches ones are supposed to be great for families but as a single adult it's very expensive.

Well I'd better go, I have some threads to catch up on and I still haven't picked all the glass out of the tub, and knowing me I'll forget all about it when I step into the shower in the morning so I'd better do that now. 'Night everyone!

Ashley, someone on the Dis recommended it. We were thinking of a Sandals resort, and I had a thread about them, and someone posted that they liked Couples better, smaller and a little cheaper. So, we checked it out and they were running a special, and unlike Sandals they included Horseback Riding in the price. Yippee!!!

Nicole, I really want to plan a trip, I'm hoping I can convince my mom to go with me, but I don't know when we would go, I have UIL competition over Spring Break. When is your semester there over?

Lin- That's so cool about the horseback riding! I leave on Aug. 15.

Lyzziesmom- I'm really excited! I can't believe I leave next Friday. I keep on thinking about next Thursday though, the day before I leave. I thought about it last night and sobbed uncontrollably. Ugh, I'm so emotional! I am really excited though and can't wait! My dad told me earlier that next week I leave for the Disney Army!

Hey, 2X! I know you're already gone, but congrats to JD!

Lin - you might see if there's a dive shop at the resort, and if so, see if they offer a snorkeling course. Sometimes it just takes a little one on one time with a good instructor to get over the humps. I mean, mouth-breathing goes totally against human nature. It's a matter of slow, deep breathing - and it helps if you've got equipment that fits properly - a mask that isn't leaking, fins that are comfortable. Plus the first few times swimming with fins they're clumsy and hard to control. It can easily freak a person out. You're in a wonderful place for snorkeling there!

DznyFan...I agree, the snorkling was a little awkward at first. However, I really loved it...wow, so cool to see all those colorful fish swimming around the coral reef!

I watched the What Not To Wear episode with Kelly from the Dis. I thought it was pretty good! except they were too harsh about her Disney purses!
