When do Christmas activities start?

We will be there the weekend after Thanksgiving, and I am wondering when do the Osbourne lights, and CP begin? Just trying to figure out our strategies.

There's usually an unofficial opening of the Osborne Lights on Thanksgiving, but I don't think the official opening is until either Saturday or Sunday night.
