I have a nice beef stew cooking in the crock pot with fresh french bread in the bread maker. It smells so good in here how am I going to last until dinner?? ;)

SO what are you eating tonight?

I'm cleaning out the fridge so we are either having leftovers or scrambled eggs. Your stew sounds much better.

I bet you plan your meals out for the whole week, and get all the groceries you need in one trip on Sunday afternoon too don't you! ;) I can't think that far ahead in my day, plus I don't really cook very well. If there isn't anything in the house at the time that looks tempting we will just go out. People like you make me sick!:) Just kidding, do you have room at the table for 2 more?

Pot roast tonight. See my thread about my attempt at homemade bread.:( Made an apple pie last night, so that's for dessert. I'm a vegetarian, so I'll just have some of the veggies, and an EXTRA BIG slice of pie to make up for it!:D

Looks like it will be one of those dull mac n cheese days around here. I've been looking for a good crockpot beef stew recipe. If you'd like to share yours binny, post it on the recipe board. :D

We're having dinner at a friend's house. Knowing the guy, I'd guess that we're going to have a whole bunch of meat. Possibly several kinds of meat. I'll need to eat my quota of fruits and veggies for the day before I go over there.

spaghetti sauce with meat and sweet italian sausage.....it cooks all day too.....Ihave test tasted it a few times already......hahaha..Italian bread and tossed salad......

Pumba, I taste test my spaghetti sauce all day long......:)

Tonight, baked ham, potatoes au gratin, brocolli, homemade pumpkin pie with whipped cream.

Boy,you guys do some big time cooking. I usually save that for the weekends when Im not dieting and I can eat too. So tonight will be my usual Lean Cuisine or WW Smart One frozen dinner(Im debating over beef & broccoli or lasagna with meat sauce) for me. DSs will have hot dogs & potato puffs, and DH will have leftover meatballs(from my big cooking day, Sunday) in a roll as a sub.

You bet you can all come over for beef stew. :)

I always make too much anyway.

There is no recipe gg Its just whatever I feel like putting in there.
I cut up carrots and onions last night when I was making meatloaf then put them in a baggie in the freezer with beef stock and parsley and some smoke flavour ( love that ;) ) then dumped it into the crock pot this AM with the meat Ill put the potatoes in later.

I dont do all my shopping on Sunday what fun would THAT be? ;) Id have no reason t call DH at work and beg him to bring something home lol

Oh you all reminded me I have a cherry crunch in the freezer oh Its going to be good eating here :)

Okay binny, you convinced me, I'm on my way. :);)

Lasagna!!! It's even better for left over later in the week! That's my plan if someone don't eat before I can get to it!;)

leftover turkey from last nights dinner~probably just a big sandwich of it though.

Since DH is away on business some friends invited DS and I over for dinner. We had lasagne, Italian bread stuffed with cheese, caprese salad (mozzarella balls, tomatoes and arugala), broccoli rabe and cheesecake for dessert. It was all yummy.

We're going out, but I don't know where yet.

Beef stew sounds good....maybe I'll make some this weekend.

and then have some of it for the week......
pot of spaghetti sauce with meatballs and already cooked chicken thighs still with bone on and skin off........so you have chicken caccitore for one meal........then you would have meatball subs with a tossed salad for another meal.....then you can have spaghetti and sauce in the freezer for the meal of :what do I have to eat in the house meal'

Don't know what's on the menu, DH is doing the cooking tonight cuz today is his day off!

Beef stew seems to be quite popular lately--Marilyn did it 2 weeks ago, I made it this past weekend and now binny! We should do a beef stew cookoff like they do the chili ones......
