VDH Questions for Purchasing

I wonder if the member cruise is going to include the Pixar studio tour as one of the activities. If so I would be elated, that is on my bucket list, its not open to the public and I just googled it its 16 mins away from San Francisco. But im sure they wouldnt announce this until after its sold out...

Im meeting her at the hotel we shall see if I can even get this damn resy. When I was staying the calendar was open for me

The MK reservation calendar is always changing. I frequently get days that were previously sold out the night before or day of. For example, I looked at Sunday a couple days ago and it was showing no reservations, but I just checked again now and it shows both parks available. Tomorrow is still showing sold out both parks though but I already had tomorrow and am going to stick with it. I am sure you will get a park ressie for the day of the signing with no issues.

Im just a lil worried cuz its a holiday which is rare for fhe cheap pass to have 🤣

About 45 mins. I grew up in like 10 mins away and used to go every weekend lol. Now that we live a little farther we usually go twice a month

Nice. My husband grew up in Monrovia, Ventura, and Orange. And I lived in Orange briefly. When I lived there, we went, on average, 5 times a week probably. Sometimes just in the evenings but it was nice.

When was your first ever trip to WDW? My husband didn't go until he was 30 years old. I was worried he might not like it but thankfully he did. Mostly because of Epcot though.

And yeah...I just hope I'm not too old to enjoy DF when it happens!

I'm really looking forward to the Coco ride. I'm "meh" about anything Avatar related. But I do like a boat ride. I haven't been paying much attention to the new stuff coming to Avengers campus so I need to look into that more.

I'm holding out hope for a Frozen land when the DF stuff happens though. The one they have overseas looks great.

Aw all my socal peeps in here, I grew up near Brea and went to Irvine so there were times I studied for midterms in line at Disneyland. I'll be back home from WDW soon enough though :P

I believe i was 17. There was a hurricane, ive never been in a hurricane and I remember we had to stay in our hotel room. I thought it was crazy and remember going to thr balcony trying to see it coming towards us. The first time I went to Disneyland I was 7. We didnt have annual passes, I grew up going to knotts berry farm. I didnt become disney obsessed until I was a cast member. For some reason thats a thing. Working there was really fun it was my favorite job, but a lot of drama lol!

Smiling thinking of all the memories. I remember Mr toads wild ride had cars that you could bump them into each other. We weren't supposed to do that, but we did because it was fun and then the bumper fell off and we all got in trouble 🤣🤣

Grad night we would bring a bunch of candy and eat sugar all night to stay awake. I remember being terrified the first time I had to walk thru snow white at the end of the night after the park closed. Maybe that's why I like it so much so many funny memories.

I dont like avatar at all. Ive tried watching it several times and I fall asleep every time. Same with Harry Potter and star wars. But I still like pop culture and so I enjoy the rides. Im looking forward to it!

I would really love a zootopia land. I think animal kingdom not putting one where dinosaur land was is a missed opportunity

The docusign was only 30 minutes after my phone call with my guide. When people say it's a FAST process, they aren't kidding.
For me its a slow crawl. Im probably the only person that says waiting for my direct points is torture 🤣🤣

I worked at Disney during college and let's just say they were not friendly towards my school schedule 🤣 They wanted us to work like 10+ hours a day 🤣

I've lurked in this thread, but I am in Tustin! Grew up studying for AP exams in line at Disneyland, too. 🤣

I ruled out VDH when I originally purchased a couple years ago, but a lot of life changes have me looking at a potential move to Orlando in a few years, so I am back to contemplating adding on at VDH! Knowing I'd have the 11 month window for visits back home is so tempting... @Girlstar30 you have given me so much to think about!

ETA I also worked at DL in college! I worked in Toontown attractions while attending UCLA. That was a rough commute from Tustin every day, eek.
