What have you done that you swear no one else has done at Disney!

What a fun thread! I don't have anything anywhere near as exciting as some of you...but one EE morning dd and I rushed to be the 1st on small world (her fav. and I promised her we'd do this - just once) the CMs look at us like we were nuts, as everyone else was rushing Space MT and Dumbo lol! So of course, we rode alone, but the weird part was, they had forgotten to start the music...riding through with those little dolls moving without the music was a little bit freaky...:scared:

Arrived on property our first night by towncar, and the fireworks were going off at Epcot, so the sweet driver pulled over and stopped so we could experience them!!! Man, I miss Disney!!!

I know others have gotten to wake up Tinker Bell, but my son thought it was the coolest thing in the world.

During the same trip, this time at AK, Guitar Dan sang a song about my son. He (Dan) was getting ready to do his show and spotted my son looking glum, so he asked what his name was. We told him and the next thing we knew his mic was on and he was singing to everyone to 'line up and kiss Sam'

When we saw Kenai at Camp Minnie Mickey, he tried to escape by getting in ds's stroller.

Went to Grad Nite 3 different days, all on a year when I wasn't graduating, and all for free.

My friends were performing at the Pirates stage.

If she doesn't spill I just might be "Cryin' Me A River"...

Well - he didn't "have me naked by the end of this song" but we were in a bathroom in a public place! I'll never, never, never forget it. DH can't understand why I turn red when I catch certain vidoes on MTV or songs on the radio. :earboy2:  :love2:

I am so jealous!! My dh would know all the specifics if that had happened to me. Would you like my "I Kissed Justin Backstage" shirt? I would mail it to you if you like!!

I don't have anything that good. Let's see:
I, too have been to grad nite 3 times, 3 years in a row. The last time being my grad year.
I peed in the MK parking lot. I had consumed some beer and then had to wait to get form Epcot to MK. I was going to die!
My ds, my dh, and I have the perfect picture of us alone on splash. I am sure lots of other people have this as well.
My ds got to say "Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, Walt Disney World proudly presents 'The Spirit of Norway'" at the Norway movie because he was flirting with the CM running it (he was 5).

OK, now I have a question (well 2)
Why is my typing taking so long to appear on screen when I post a message? It is driving me crazy.
Also, just wanted to know why Brier Rose (the poster) spells her posting name with the 'e'.

Fun Thread!

Well i have. On my solo trip last year i tripped on my shoe lace that had come loose and twisted so i would land on my backside but never hit the ground as Buzz caught me. Basicly it looked like i was being dipped by Buzz and his/her CM escort was cracking up. Were is a camera when you need it.
Boy i've never had my DH return a call so quickly when you leave a message Buzz Lightyear saved me from cracking my skull on a wall call me if you want the details. His response first day solo at WDW and your already getting into trouble.

We did have Buzz all to ourselves at MK in Jan. He was looking out the windows in tomorrowland all sad :-) We went in to see him. My DS then 5 was curious about his buttons and turned him "off". Buzz slumped over until he hit the button again and awoke Buzz in a confused daze...it was very cool and he still talks about it.

leighe-I'm sensing a brand new tag in here somewhere...

on our honeymoon in '92, we went to the movie theater one evening in the lower level of the Contemporary (off from the game room)...

we ended up being the only there to watch "Lady & the Tramp"...

I'm not sure if they still run this, since now many of the hotels have kids corners where they pop in a DVD / VSH tape of some Disney show... but this was the actual film.

Well, this happened at Disneyland, and it's probably under that category of Too Much Information. But, I'm willing to bet that this is something that hasn't happened to too many people in the world, let alone on the DIS. I visited Disneyland when I was 11. My first trip to California and my trip to Disney or any kind. And, I got my period for the very first time while I was on Tom Sawlyer's Island. Of course, it was before we visited the ocean.

Anyone want to join my club???

Are you there Walt? It's me, Margaret...

Christmas week 2000, we went to EE at EPCOT and rode TT twice without having to get off. Got off, ran back around, and rode for third time.

Christmas week 2002, went to EPCOT, got FP for TT, walked around to WS, rode boat to MGM, ate lunch, got FP for RRC, took bus back to EPCOT, rode TT, took bus back to MGM, at dinner, rode RRC. Then walked through Osborne Christmas Lights.

I think Hubby and I might be one of the only couples who've traveled to Disney, stayed on site for 5 days + nights, and not once ever entered a park :goodvibes We travel through every hotel, shop/eat, chat with other vacationers and then head over to do some Disney shopping.

(should I mention we've done this more than once?)

I read every one of the previous posts, and many of them brought back such wonderful memories, I keep wiping away the tears.
In 1987 DD (age 9 at the time)was invited to be in the audience of the MMC taping. It was on the Disney Channel and she never missed it. We dropped her off at 1pm and she was there until 7pm. Through rehearsal, & 2 tapings. At the end of the show the audience could come down on the stage for the closing song. She danced "arm-in-arm" with Lindsey on the show (DD is a Lindsay too). When the show aired it was cool to see her on the Show :)

Another trip, went to the MK for the extra hours, walking down Main Street at 1am, nary a soul in sight, music softly playing, looking back at the Castle. I still cry thinking about this.

DD (age 8) getting picked to direct the DW Band in Liberty Square. Just watched the video of this last month (DD is 26 now) Very fun

:jumping1:

Madi100,
Yep, I can join "the club" :rotfl2: !!!
Only it happened to me in Busch Gardens Williamsburg, VA. I can add some caviats to the whole fiasco: 1) white shorts 2)a 4 hour ride home with my mother and "the talk"
