What have you done that you swear no one else has done at Disney!

I've got a great one. My wife and some of her friends were at Pleasure Island for a Bachelorette Party pre-9/11. When PI was closing down, a couple Security CMs, one guy and one gal, came up to them and asked where the party was going now that PI was closed. They told them that they didn't know, probably back to the resort. The Security CMs offered to take them back to the CR, where they were staying, since it was a special occasion. They said great and one of the CMs pulled the Security truck and all 8 girls piled in. Well after they took off, the CM asked if they have ever been to Epcot after dark. They said yeah, during park hours, but never after hours. He asked if they would like to make a detour through Epcot and they all screamed "YEAHH!". Well they drove straight through the middle of the park, through the front gates, with noone around except the Security and the Maint. crews, right up to the American Adventure. They took a ton of pics, one of all of the girls standing in a circle around the seal on the floor, and a bunch of silly ones throughout the park. See how life is, there is nothing that a bunch of smart, good looking women on vacation for a Bachelorette Party can't accomplish! :teeth:

Why would you go to the trouble of setting up a user account only to come on here and say something like that. I'm sure there are countless family members out there now who lost this little loved one of theirs while he was trying to do nothing more than have a good time, and now due to a freak accident he is gone. For you to come on here and post something like that is completly uncalled for and outright disgusting. I'm sure your username will be banned and I'm also sure that you will go right out and sign up with another one but, I also know that the moderators will not let everyones good time be ruined because one heartless jerk wants to make unbelievable childish comments like this and will continue to ban each and every username you sign up for. I hope that whenever you have the misfourtune of losing a loved one no one throws it in your face in this kind of incredibly hurtful way.
michaelwilliammidd- Why respond?!?! You're giving whoever wrote it exactly what he/she wants. I suggest we ignore and move on!

I still can't believe what I got to do!

Late one night, right as MGM was about to close, our family lined up for TOT. Our DDs chickened out at the last moment and so I said that DH could ride first while I took the girls down in the lift to wait (child swap). When DH came back down all the CMs came down with him as it had been the last ride of the night. They saw me - and realised that I hadn't yet ridden, so they escorted me back up and then I ride TOT COMPLETELY ALONE!!

It was way spooky!

I'm sure that I'm not the only one who as done this, but on my last trip in February DS7 and I played checkers on one of the tables in front of the Frontierland Shootin' Arcade. It was a great break from running from ride to ride!

we did this too... or my husband and brother did... as they were both chomping away at turkey legs, "like MANLY MEN". :cool2: :smooth:

lol

My family got to go in the back entrance to splash mountain and ride/walk around with the characters (brare bear/fox)!!! It was so much fun and I was so excited being 8 and all..... It was so cool also because through out the ride the characters splashed us with water and just were all around great!!!!!!!!!!!!! :earboy2: That was my moment!!!!! princess:

Back in 1980 or 81. I was 5 years old. My family was on the teacups with the Harlemglobtrotters. They were passing basketballs all around us on the teacups. From that moment on, all I wanted to do was be a globtrotter.

I don't remember anything else from that trip except being on the teacups.

I'm a paraplegic and my Fiance and I had reservations at King Stephans Hall in 1982. We were sent upstairs but when we got there the wait staff hadn't been informed about my wheelchair. They had a table ready for us on the lower level, down about 4 steps. We were ready to eat and really didn't want to go back downstairs to wait for an upper level table to open up so we told them we could just pop down the stairs.

It really wasn't that tough for my Fiance and I to go up and down a few stairs in the wheelchair with her behind me and me rolling the chair up and down(leverage and timing is the key). So we were explaining it to them and they were insisting that we should wait. This went on for a bit and we were ready to just go down the stairs. We had been in position for abit while talking to them and I turned to my Fiance and said "Lets just do it." She had been holding onto the back and the chair and we were ready.

Well just as I started down she had let go of the chair and turn to the castmember to talk :earseek: So I may be the only guy to take a wheelchair down the steps in King Stephans Hall by himself and nail the landing at the bottom perfectly!

I admit I didn't even realize she wasn't there till I turned around and saw her at the top of the stairs. :rotfl2:

Last year we were the first plane from Balt/Wash to fly in after the hurricanes. We were staying at OKW but since it was about 4pm, we decided to head over to Poly to eat at Ohana's. Once there, I realized it was so empty it wouldn't even be that fun - but Chef Mickey's would!!! Poly front office called over to see if we could get in and only 8 tables were filled. :earseek: We hopped on the monorail, and spent 4:45pm to about 9pm with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Chip and Dale. This was dd's first trip at 3 and she played hide and seek with Minnie for over an hour (w/ breaks!) Just her and Minnie. Chipe and Dale also played tag with her and 2 boys for about 20-30min. It was wonderful. There were more characters then kids there. It will probably be my fondest memory of disney EVER! Here is one of the pics

The other thing that same week, we saw was a women (who had no DIS direction ;) ) actually walk up to the post at CRT and say, what openings do you have this morning? :rotfl2: having NO idea how hard the ressies are. Well since it was post-hurricane week, the lady said - go get your daughter, we can take all 4 of you up right now. :earseek: They walked up with us (yes, I called at 6:59 90 days prior!!) and I told her - you are SO SO lucky - you will never know. She was still clueless!!! :teeth:

I am the "only one " DH propsed to on BTMRR.... :teeth: I know a gazillion proposals have been done at WDW, but it only happened to me once! O.K. , twice, but that's only because I made him repeat himself later on in the Swiss Family Tee House...a little more calm there!
One trip my kids found all 3 paintbrushes on Tom Sawyer Island in under 5 minutes...the CM gave them a look and said, geeze guys, only on apiece, but gave them 3 front of the line passes to SM A/O BTMRR since they did it so quickly.
DS yelled "CROCODILE" behind Captain Hook as he was walking along the dock at CR...and he jumped a mile, then chased DS...Mr. Smee was enjoying this moment too. I gotta admit, it was pretty funny.

When we went to MK 2 weeks ago it was so crowded that they opened up some gate that lead from the start of mainstreet and went through the back parking lot and came out near the bathrooms where the noodle bowl station was. that was my 6th trip in 2 years and the first time I have seen them open it up. It was simply impossible to walk down mainstreet because of the crowds and it was kinda cool to see what the backside of mainstreet looked like.

Watched the parade from te roof on the porch over the entrance to The Country Bear Jamboree.....

:smooth:

We got engaged while sitting on a hammock in front of the Tahiti building on March 27, 1999 between the fireworks & water pagent parade so I'd say around 8pm ish (I can say no one else did that since no one but me & my dh were there!).

I took a picture of my 2000 brick in Feb 2000 & made a candy bar wrapper out of it for my wedding favor (yes I got the brick before I got married).

I rode that darn Eastern If we had wings ride over & over again one night since our parents were watching the show/music thingy in the theater in Tommorowland & they wouldn't let us roam around all alone (this was the mid-1980's & I think the next trip they let us roam).

When there was only the MK & EPCOT, we watched Illuminations, ran out when it was over, hopped the monorail & then went to the MK for 2-3 more hours (again the mid-80s' when the park was open til 12 or 1am in the summer).

I road the sky way to Tomorrowland & back (OK I am sure I am no the only one!).

I have done the Space Mountain run (pre-Splash Mountain opening) countless times & sure do miss it (you know who you are that have run it with me). That was the best, on SM twice with in 10 minutes.

This was in early December and it was a early morning at MK, there was no one around. Myself & my nephew who was 5 at the time were sitting in Liberty Square (looking at a map...I was lost). All of the sudden Belle came out and started talking to my nephew. He grabbed her hand and wouldn't let go. He told her everything about Beauty & the Beast and Mary Poppins. This went on for about 5 minutes...then she asked us if we have a few minutes. I said yes.

My nephew & Belle went hand in hand, and myself trotting behind trying to take a picture (of course the camera didnt work) to IASW...where we went to the front of the line and My nephew & Belle rode up front and I stayed far behind in the last seat.

It was quite nice & very funny because my nephew was star struck and ratalled on & on & on about everything to Belle. When the ride was over she gave him a kiss, and told him she had to go meet the Beast.

When she left, he turned to me and said "I think Belle likes me"!

I stood at a urinal next to professional wrestler Kevin Sullivan. We were in the restroom between Splash and Thunder Mountains.
Thrill of my life but I just could not bring myself to speak to him (considering the circumstances).

I rode the rapids in AK about 6 times in a row one day. We were on it and there was no line so the CM let us keep only until everyone was drenched. IT was really fun!! :cheer2:

ONLY 19 MORE DAYS!I an so excited :Pinkbounc :cool1:  :bounce: :bounce: :jumping1: :dancer: :disrocks: :jumping3: :jumping2: :thewave: :thewave: :thewave: :thewave:

How about arriving at EPCOT thinking it is EMH and being the first ones in the parking lot wondering why no one else is here....you guested it. I was at the wrong park for early opening :rotfl: But it was great when we left at closing as we had a front row parking space. :teeth: We grabbed the monorail and went to Kona Cafe for breakfast and then returned when it actually opened. Oh well, DH has never let me forget this one, being the micromanager that I am.
