Oh, and I just realized that I might not need a baby sitter for saturday anyway....TVLand is having a 24 hour marathon of Miami Vice!!! I may just sit in front of the tube all day and watch Crocket and Tubbs...*sigh* I just love stubbly men with no socks wearing pastels!!!

I just received the most *AWESOME* Ya Ya Exchange Package from Elaine!!

Gee, Lainey - how on earth did you know that I wanted ornaments???

DH rubbed the Buck ornament for good luck as he headed out for the evening hunt! Keep your fingers crossed! That was a beautiful ornament!

I also received a yardful of Snowmen ornaments! They are soooo cute! A silver Piggy Bank ornament, a silver Angel one blowing a trumpet (that one made me think of you, Lainey - our DIS Baby Angel!), another silver Angel ornament, a White Angel folk-style one, a hilarious Flower Garden Angel ornament that had me rolling on the floor, and a Snowflake with Tinkerbell (my favorite Disney character!) decked out in red and fur!

I also received chocolate covered cordial cherries (again, my favorite!) and TONS of Andes Candies. (Plus a purple BaB hair bow, do you need that back??)

Lainey - if was evident that you took time to search out those ornaments for me - plus the care you gave them in packaging them in the box - well..... it made me feel very special, and yes, loved as I opened up my box of treasures!!! Thank-you so very much! For years to come I will always think of you as I decorate my Christmas tree with the ornaments!

Pam I am so laughing at the bow!!! I knew there were a couple extras laying on the bed (they threw some in with the last BaB order I placed and I was about to use the same box so I just took them out) and honestly the only thing I can think of is that Gwenie was there playing with the boxes and the peanuts and she probably left if for you! No, I don't need it as I have a ton of bows like that!

But I am so glad that the package got to you so quickly and that you enjoyed it! I had soooooo much fun shopping for you. I love shopping for ornaments (who knew you'd like them ) so I just went up and down all the aisles of places looking.

Need to start supper soon. Steaks and biscuits tonight. I haven't had a home cooked meal in ages!

Didn't get all the cookies done I wanted to today.....ran out of swt cond milk. Will finish on Friday. But....fudge is done. I did the work, you guys have to come get it

So odd having a new garage door....who would have thought a garage door could be so up-to-date Nice to have a light that works again, a quiet door, and knowing that I can get out if the power goes out

Dave got to work 3 hour delay in Detroit. Now he has to help set something up for a ???? show tomorrow. Still hasn't called to come home. I bet he sleeps good tonight. He said he was so tired he couldn't do math anymore For him that is really tired!!

Had to call Disney today about my AP. They never answered my e-mail
Guess it is lost, they are reissueing (How do you spell that? ) it. The bill made it just fine
I did get my Disney Reward Card though Just need to activate it.
So.......probably off for the night.

Sorry I have been so scarce. My back has been really bad and sitting at the computer after working all day is not fun.

Paula I am so sorry to hear about the girl in Alyssa's quad. Did Alyssa know her? Will they have a counselor for the kids? Uh Oh over the minutes and right before Christmas....not good.

Elaine Im glad Luis is home safe and sound. I havent looked at the pictures but I will as soon as the back lets up and lets me sit at the computer longer than a couple of minutes.

Pammy what a great package you got!!! WTG Elaine!!! You collect angels too?? I love angels. My whole tree is done in them plus I have many more scattered around the house. Beth collects them also. She has an awesome collection....she showed me pictures of it.

Tara if I lived closer I would love to come babysit for you. Its been so long since I have been around very little ones and I have the ADHD training LOL!!!

My eldest had his first recital on Monday with Florida Youth Symphony. They were so cute. They were in black and white with teal bow ties and cumberbuns. He got to see the group above him play and the principal orchestra play also and it really inspired him to want to practice his Viola more and move up. We have another teacher lined up for him. We found out that he should not be learning by the Suzuki method, which is the way he has been being taught, as he is too old and needs traditional training. His old teacher only teaches by way of Suzuki. This new teacher is much closer to our home, wants to work with him longer, can also get him into All County Orchestra, and will give him the traditional training that he needs. Hearing the principal orchestra play inspired him to want to do better with his Clarinet also. Principal orchestra not only has strings but other instruments such as the clarinet so he would have two ways of making principal orchestra some day. He practiced with gusto tonight on both instruments....something I have never seen him do. Not a complaint out of him either.

Well I have to get off this thing and go lay down and rest my back. I will check in when I can.

Hi all - I talked briefly to Alyssa today but not about the incident - she did say last night that it was a boy. She didn't know him - says she say the police - recsue and dogs there - she just figured it was a drug raid until they all got the e-mail.
She was feeling a bit out of sorts today so I just kept our conversation light.

Speaking of Alyssa - she made me a CD of christmas music - got it on the mail today -how sweet is that??

Did more shopping at Target today - beanbag, dvd, boxers , t-shirt and hat for Chris - also got my giving tree gift for church - it was for a 6 month old girl so that was fun shopping.

Pam - about the phone - it's not so much over the minutes but the stupid downloading......we had a talk about it - he will pay the overage.

I may not be on till later tomorrow- haircut in the morning then more shopping....I have a list. Got my Lang order today - I ordered a really cure travel mug for Alyssa.

Hopes everyone sleeps well - chilly night here - 19 degrees.
