Fall 2026 itineraries

No. Not like this. Not with a stackable promotion from Disney Visa for Sept (that came out before PIF for several sailings). Not with Dec dates already from Florida. This is not typical.
Soft sales are likely due to pricing them too high to begin with. When all is said in done they will probably sell out.

How you sell out matters. If it is deep CM, TA discount thats not great. DCL does not have the casino revenue other lines can heavily lean on and while I am not disagreeing that DCL is overpriced, it is important to remember that they are missing a huge money making component other lines have.

And I would hope you would agree that stackable discounts with restricted GT rates are not the norm and a sign that DCL is struggling to fill ships at the price point they want.

I'm not worried about DCL not making enough money. It's seems to be something that concerns you. Their stackable discounts still puts them at a much higher price point than anybody else. I don't know how long you've been cruising DCL, but there have been other years with lots of discounts. The post covid years were an anomaly. DCL has weathered other economic slowdowns and come out just fine.

They've also increased supply. Simple supply and demand economics. I'm sure they will eventually learn how to position their ships to make more profit. What they are doing now probably won't work, but if you like short cruises to the Bahamas don't complain take advantage of it.

Seems to be working probably again. Probably an hour or so more before we can call it a day on today's itinerary announcement watch and start the same thing next week (I'm still thinking next thursday)
