Well so much for sleeping. I wish he little guy with the spike would quit driving it into my lower back. I took something for sleep but the pain woke me up in a matter of an hour. Guess Im gonna have to bite the bullet and go in for a cortisone shot in my back. Its about the only thing that helps it when it gets this bad. Hopefully my doc can get me in tomorrow afternoon.

Nancy, I had no idea about a garage door! I've heard about the power to the door even if you lose power and that does appeal to me (though with 1 car garage, it's not so bad fo us to do it manually). I do hope your AP voucher comes soon! Kind of why I liked to do will call. I think I'll probably have to do it for this time, though I may just buy right out at the window and not worry if the prices don't go up.

Karen, yay for your DS with wanting to play more. I always loved it. HOpe you feel better soon.

I was around last night but I was involved in a thread on the transportation board and one person just seems to know everything and feels it is their responsibility to judge everyone around them! ugh! I hate when I get sucked in to stuff like that. I have to go back today and see what's happened since then!!

Then I was downloading pictures to imagestation and it was going to take so long that I went to bed. Well, when I looked at it this morning it had an error message and had quit downloading so I had to restart it this morning. I'm going in a bit to see if it is done yet.

I'll check back later and do a proper ketchup!!

The old garage door's manual over ride has been broken for years and that door was way too heavy to lift....so I was stuck in when the power went off.....once for 2 days when Dave was gone....not fun.
Now it can go off

Well, I know Dave is home, I can tell by the messes
He got home at 9:30 last night, went to bed and left at 6:30. It has been a rough week. He won't be home until late tonight. He should have just had them get him a hotel by work for these 2 nights.

So...I have a pretty free day today. I see a lot of TV watching. Still have a lot of episodes of 21 Jump Street to go through

I finally finished up loading the picture from the WDW trip.

Oh Tara, I saw the thread. While I do get annoyed at parents who don't even try to get their squealing child to shut up for two hours straight and lets them happily kick my seat even though I asked nicely to stop, that other poster was over the top. Sorry no one is perfect, and most kids aren't a problem on a plane (yes I had one flight like that and I was about ready to kick teh parents since the laughed at the high pitch squeal while the whole plane moaned... but none really bad). Stupid perfectionists people thinking its their way or no way

My guys went bear hunting but didn't have any luck

They have a mini-tramp and my boys fell in love with it.

The potato and cheese sounds good for me, but believe it or not, picky little me loves cabbage! (Of course, it has to be cooked to death, preferably with some fatback or bacon)

Had a wonderful week at WDW, although Dave finally succumbed to the nasty cold he'd been fighting off recently. Took a cab Thursday morning and went to Walgreens for some drugs for him, so he perked up enough for our last 2 days. It was soooooo much fun meeting up with RM, Tara and family, Suzanne and Ed, Elaine, Luis, Elaine's dad and the Alabamalan Clan. Sorry to hear some of ya'll were under the weather too.

Hey All,

Im gonna be kinda scarce. I went to the doctors today and I have really messed up my lower back. He has me in a bracelike corssett and on some pretty heavy meds along with the four shots he gave me. I am one very hurting puppy right now. Thankfully I am off for the next three days so I can hopefully heal enough not to have to take the meds and work on Monday. Little ds is with the grandparents tonight and I told dh there is just no way I can go over there when he goes to pick him up. Im just waiting for dh to finish making dinner, I will eat, and then off to bed with me. I am going to my neighbors office tomorrow so he can give me a massage. He is a massage therapist and has been after me to come see him. My doc said it would be okay and may even help. Just gonna take it easy all weekend and try and heal.
