Pkaroch, welcome to the group... so now Bethie has to tell us all about you and how she knows you :teeth:

Don't forget that Bethie also has to teach Pkaroch the initiation dance. :cool1:

Wait, hang on...this initiation dance doesn't include dancing in the woods on a full moon in my birthday suit, does it? Because I'm not much of a nature person.... :cool1:

I met Beth at Busch Gardens over the summer...and whatever she tells you, I was NOT dancing on the tables in the Festhaus, doing the chicken dance. I swear.

Oh John, how could I forget to mention that?? ;)

Pkaroch, it doesn't have to be in the woods :p

And if by "full moon" you are referring to that celestial object that orbits the earth, then the answer would be no.

LOL!!! Yes, that's my new buddy, "PeeKaRoach"!! P for Princess, k for Kim and Roch for Rochester--NOT roach!!!! She is not an insect!!! Pk will be joining us at 50s Prime Time AND at Jellyrolls!!!! I'm sure we can fit her dance in there somewhere!!!

Love ya, Pk!! (btw, hope Pk is allright for your Ya Ya nickname--we already have 2 Kims here--Kimmar and Kimmie!) And that was a chicken dancing on the table at the Festhaus, right??!!!

Hello Y'all-Y'alls!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving visit with DH's grandmother and assorted family in Maryland.

We had to take two days coming and going because of traffic delays and more frequent/longer stops with two little girls, but it was a fun trip.

In fact, since we stopped in Chattanooga, TN returning home Saturday night, we decided to go to Rock City on Lookout Mountain Sunday morning before heading home.

The girls loved it, and I specifically waved to Todd and Amanda from the "See Seven States" platform even though I couldn't quite make y'all out. ;)

Beth, you can call me anything you like, since you were so nice about making sure all and sundry know I'm not a bug!!!!

Yes, that was indeed a chicken, not me, on the table. I don't do table dances, I am a Princess after all and I must act accordingly! I'm looking forward to being initiated at Jellyrolls, just get me good and schnockered so I don't remember any of it, and for the love of Mickey, please don't post pictures!!!!

What time is Jellyrolls? I have to insert that into my ten page itinerary!

Yep, what John said was very true :teeth:

Well, welcome PK! Glad to have you with us!

Count Dracula, welcome to the group as well... we are fun and a bit crazy, but not too bad :)

Alan, glad you had a good Thanksgiving!

Maybe we can have you do "I'm a Little Teapot" at 50s Prime Time!!! And Jellyrolls is at 8PM, I believe. Not a whole lot of room for dancing there--especially with the size of the group of Dissers who will be there!! LOL!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BETH!! :cake: :bday:

Welcome PK and Count Dracula :D

Karen PD coming your way for headache and DH's test results.

Beth enjoy your new coat. DH gave me one for christmas a couple of years ago and I love it. It is perfect for our winter nights here.

Alan I am glad you enjoyed your trip. Did you take lots of pictures??

I am still taking naps for everyone hope you are all enjoying them.

Maybe I will have to make the Prime Time meet after all.......

Tina, glad youa re taking naps for us... I could really use one today ::yes::

Good evening everyone! It sure has been a busy day around here! It's a good thing they don't charge us by the post here!

Jellyrolls? Did someone say Jellyrolls? I hear it's a great place to spend an evening. And I hear that the person who organized the meet really loves it there. So it should be a great time.

PK, welcome to this crazy place! I hope you survive!

Karen, glad to hear your hubby did well on the stress test. Hopefully everything is a-OK. Hope your headache goes away.

Tina, you're taking naps for everyone? So that explains why I woke up at 4:00 a.m. and couldn't fall back to sleep this morning--the nap you must have taken for me yesterday overdid the sleep for me. Cut it out ;)

Count Dracula, welcome. This is a nice place to hang :) I like everyone anyways. Don't know if everyone will say the same about me though ;)

Rose Mary, hope you feel better real soon. You have a trip coming up, and we need you in top shape :) All Yayas must be in top shape for this trip :)

Alan, sounds like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend :)

John, hope Sarah is having a great 15th birthday! I have a great 16 year old nephew if you are looking to fix her up. Can't get a better 16 year old than my nephew ;)

Bethie, you and Dave aren't old. Eighty is old. You can go to Jellyrolls after Illuminations :) Bus trip back to Saratoga wouldn'be be as bad as some of the other resorts--at least Saratoga is close to DD. Or you can do what I do--take a cab.

Tara, that's so sad that that boy lost his mom on his 14th birthday. It's a horrible memory to have on your birthday. My mom died in January 10 days before my birthday, and it really hit me hard. I can't imagine what it's like to have it on the actual day. I'll send some thoughts his way to help him through.

Liz, good luck with the car dealership. Stupid morons. I think you should throw some haggis at them ;)

Well, I think I'll do everyone a favor and shut up now.

HAGGIS!!!! What a GREAT idea!!!! Looks like molded dog food. Tastes even worse. Won't even discuss what's in it!! Perfect for throwing at morons!!! And the cheetohs that follow will just cover everything in a nice "sunny" glow! :teeth:

Off to ding-a-ling practice!
:moped:

Two more loads of laundry taken care of... and my suitcase is mostly packed with the clothes I wanted to wear. Still not much cleaning done, but I might give up on a lot of that :o

Good evening everyone. I think the nasty sinus headache has left for now. Still trying to get use to these new contact lenses so that may have had something to do with the headache.

 Tina, didn't realize you were doing the napping for us. Please pencil me in for 1-2 tomorrow. How are you feeling?

Did I hear something about a Haggis & Cheetoh run?! Count me in!

Elaine, I'll pm you with my cell phone. Not sure where I wrote yours & Beth's. Should have put them right into my phone but, I didn't.

JRKaren, I'm sure by Fri. I will be in tip top shape. Something about a trip to The World cures all :teeth:

Welcome PK & Count Dracula.

Must get back to the wash. Yuck!

Evening, all!

Bethie, Happy Birthday! Hope Dave took you out for some good eats tonight!

I got my package!!!!! Lainey sent a HUGE stocking, big enough to fit Kevin in (and we're going to take pictures in it, lol!). In it were: lots of yummy chocolates (I'm not sharing the Ghiradelli), some Ghiradelli Cocoa Coffee, A knit Santa that is soft and cute, a YC Snowboarding Snowman with some really nice votives. I can dingaling along with Bethie with my jingle bell necklace and earrings! I also can have a festive kitchen with some Santa potholders and kitchen towel. And best of all, a pair of hallmark ornaments. Thank you so much, Elaine! I will post the picture of Kevin in the stocking once we get him in it!

Tara, how sad for your student. My thoughts are with you as I know you'll help him get through the school days.

JRKaren, Haggis :crazy2:, yuck. But I have to admit, telling someone the Yaya's will cheeto them isn't as scary as letting them know the Haggis Patrol will get them!

Okay, schedule is not changing. I'm off Tuesday and Thursday-wanted to make sure the boss didn't want me to do the last minute stuff the day before the big visit. Definitely joining some yayas on Thursday, and depending on the Tuesday plans, I may get over there twice in the week!

Tina, thank you for the napping service. I really could use one-up until 2:30 because obsessive child wanted his Harry Potter book! The jumbo coffee helped until about 5!

PK and Drac, welcome! PK can have some white hots for me, if she's still in Rochester! Don't worry about the initiation dance-the trick is to do it REALLY LATE, then no one realizes you've done it! I gotta say, though, Liz's dance was so amzing that everyone elses gets forgotten!

Well, hate to be short and sweet, but the droopy eyes are saying I should pack it in soon. Got other emails to respond to, and some bills that need tending to.

Good night!

Suzanne

Going to bed soon... just need to sort through one more load of laundry before I quit for the night.

Rose Mary, I'll give you my cell phone number as well! I know what you mean... if I don't get a number in my cell phone, I inevitably lose it.

'nite all!

Hey everyone,

Well dh ended up having to run over to my personal doctors office to pick up some Imatrex for me. Yep ended up with a full blown migraine headache at work. Even the Vicoden ES didnt touch it. The Imatrex did the trick thankfully and my head is now down to a dull roar. Didn't eat much dinner. Tummy just wasn't into eating tonight.

Welcome PK and Count!!! Glad to have you here!!

RM hope you feel better very soon. Prayers and good thoughts going your way.

Hi Ya Yas! Good night Ya Yas!
Oh but wait. Welcome newbies! Good that you could stop by.

Oh and Beth, I though it was Dave who will be singing I'm a Little Tea Pot.

I just stuffed a suitcase overly much, but I couldn't stop myself from taking so much.
