Karen, I'm so glad you found your mom's cookie recipe!!! My long lost favorite cookie was something my mom used to buy, but I can't find anymore. They were called Ranger bars and... I think "Mother's" cookies was the brand. Sigh. I guess they're long gone. Kudos to your DH for doing so well on the stress test and... gentle "headache go away" hugs to you.

Can't sleep... kind of annoying. I did take a new cold med and I might just be dealing with reacting to that differently. I am sure I will get super tired soon and zonk out. THe only good news is that I stopped coughing... that was hurting me far too much yesterday.

Suzanne sneated in on me before. I am so glad you got the package and are enjoying it all! I can't wait to see Kevin in the stocking

Karen, I hope that today your migrane will be completely gone.

Lily, I am trying to be good about packing. So far I am doing okay. I always take way too many shirts with me though. Can't wait to see what Luis decides to pack later this week.

Rose Mary, if I weren't cleaning so much, I doubt I'd be half packed by now.
Plus I have 8 days at WDW where the weather looks like it will range between shorts & jeans! Makes for a lot of stuff to remember!

Hush it, Kimmie, not a doofy reply... well if it is, then God help me with mine I'll stop on the laundry for now. Although I did wash a pair of brown socks last night and now I can only find one... hate when that happens. And I washed them specifically for today. Guess I'll wear white (no one will see, I'll have brown boots on underneath cream colored pants) but still... annoying. Btw, if you are 21, I'm only 18

Haven't had much time to post lately. Been busy running around, but I am pretty much done with my shopping! WOO HOO! This is the first time in I don't know how long that I've been done before Dec. I just have some stocking stuffer stuff and a couple gift certs. and that's it.

Woke up with another headache last night. Took a mega dose of Advil since I didn't know if I could take Imatrex again and that seems to have helped with it. Just what I need right now migraines!!

Morning all! Eventually got back to sleep last night. Figured out it was a headache/body ache thing that was keeping me from falling asleep. 2 advil seemed to do the trick. Was going to go to Walmart during lunch to get wrapping paper, stuff for the trip and the new Josh Groban CD, but if it is rainy we'll see if I feel like doing that

Sherry, congrats on getting all your shopping done! I remember when I used to start in October and be finished by mid November. Granted I never have to get as much as you, but it seems as I got older I kept slipping. This year I impressed myself (save a fun gift or two that I might pick up if I find the right thing) and had it all done a couple weeks ago. Nice to have it done with!

Amanda, I feel like I was skipped as well I hope your day goes by quickly and you get some sleep soon!

Elaine...No rest tonight. I have a dentist appointment after work, then off to get Mandy for gymnastics, while they are in gymnastics driving back to Mandy's school for her parent/teacher conference and finally back to gymnastics to pick the girls up. The good part is I may get to see Todd for a few extra minutes tonight since he is going to their gymnastics to cover the time I am gone. Maybe rest tomorrow

Called the doctors office today about the migraines and he wants to see me at 11:30 this morning. I just dont want him sending me back to the neurologist who wanted to put me on a medication that scares me to help prevent me from getting them. I dont get them often but they run in cycles. I really dont want to be on a med that can do damage to other parts of my body....according to the insert in the package.....if I dont get them all the time. I would rather treat them as I get them.

Hello Y'all-Y'alls!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving visit with DH's grandmother and assorted family in Maryland.

We had to take two days coming and going because of traffic delays and more frequent/longer stops with two little girls, but it was a fun trip.

In fact, since we stopped in Chattanooga, TN returning home Saturday night, we decided to go to Rock City on Lookout Mountain Sunday morning before heading home.

The girls loved it, and I specifically waved to Todd and Amanda from the "See Seven States" platform even though I couldn't quite make y'all out.
