Welcome!!!

We have many fun things to do around here! Stay and have a great time

Oh....one more quick thing before I start my housework. I have to order the M&M's to change the pool on Monday and I was wondering if you all had an opinion on what I should order. We've had plain and this week was peanut - should I order crispy or almond? :confused3

Please let me know what you want to swim in or snack on this week :)

Thanks - slo

I love Dark Chocolate. But any kind makes me happy.

slo I'm sorry you had a hard day at work. Did you manage to get your project finished? I hope you are feeling less stressed now.

OK, a question from the English girl: What are tater tots? I don't think we have them here or we call them something else!!

Welcome PG Sweetie, grab a bar of cadburys chocolate and stick around.
As for M&M's I don't think I have tried almond (not sure if we have those either!) but I would probably vote for them.

I think I'm like the only one on this thread who doesn't have a tag.

PG Sweetie, Hang out on the Dis long enough and a TAG FAIRY might notice you. Remember though, once you have been tagged, changeing your tag gets rid of the gift!!!

Danauk - Yes, I did get the project done and I am feeling less stressed today - Thank you for asking!! :flower:
To answer your question about Tater Tots - they are small seasoned shredded potatoes (took that description right out off the bag ;) ) They are small and you can deep fry them or put them in the oven. That's the best description I can give - maybe someone else can do a little better :)

While I am cleaning my house today I am getting a little project together for Stephanie. She is "special person" this week in her kindergarten class and I have to put a small collage of pictures together about her life. Well, I have been going through tons of photos and they just make me smile. It's fun looking back at when she was born, first day at daycare, dance recitals, graduation from pre-k, when she became a big sister and so many other things. The project is going real well, and I am almost done. It's going so well, that I may take it to work with me after it returns home and frame it for her playroom.

Well, I better be off to finish this project and to finish cleaning my house.
See ya later - slo

We have tator tots at our school. All of my friends love them.

I've never cared for tater tots. I've always liked french fries better, ::yes::

Tater tots???? Oh you mean pototo croquets!! I understand you now! This reminds me of when we stayed at my friends house in Arizona. We had been out for the day and her dad came over with some KFC for dinner. She asked if I wanted a biscuit. To me a biscuit is a cookie and what looked like a biscuit to us is a scone (only we have them sweet with rasins in.) Also I discovered what she called a pudding cup I called a trifle. I love the differences between the American and English language.:teeth:

So what has everyone done today? After my visit to the dentist I have done nothing!! I had a day of rest (which was really nice.) I played around on my new cell phone taking pictures of my pets (the phone has a good built in camera) and then we have just finished watching Bridget Jones the edge of reason which came out on DVD yesterday (I never got around to seeing it in the cinema.)

I did think this afternoon about our Christmas trip to WDW. Andy (my best friend) and I are going to do some more preperation for the trip in 3 weeks time (we have the same 2 weeks off work where as Pete only has 1 week off the same as us). Anyway we were hoping to book some backstage tours for our Christmas trip. We had hoped to book the behind the scenes tour (I can't remember the exact name of it - the 7 hour one that does the MK, MGM and Epcot, plus the segue tour.) Do you think we will still be able to book these or will it be too late. The other guys don't seem fussed about hurrying to book things but I really want to be organised as I know we are going in the busiest week of the WDW year!! I guess that is the panic caused by reading the boards so much.
Also do you know of the park hours are advertised before the 90 day window to book PS places for restaurants. I think the different EMH days for the parks might end up influencing where we book our evening meals. I know our trip is ages away but I want to be organised so we can book things ASAP.

You're so lucky ur goin to WDW. I want to go. And Christmas is the prettiest time to go.

I know, I have been waiting for ages to plan another trip. I have only been once (in August 2003 when we stayed in a 2 bed BCV) as the trip from England is so expensive (especially as DH and I have to go at peak times in the school holidays as we are both teachers.) I guess that is why I want to be so well planned to make sure we have a great trip even though the crowds will be huge.

What's it like living in England and what do you teach?

England right now is damp. We had snow last week which melted today. I live in the middle of England about an hour from London on the train which is great. I love England as it is small but has so much history. I also love where I live as it is in the countryside yet near to London so I can go and see shows in the west end (I love the theatre and all kinds of music.) As for teaching I teach years 5 and 6 (9 - 11 year olds) so I teach every subject.
