Happy Saturday everyone - we are going shopping all day today and then going to The Rainforest Cafe for dinner (this is Stephanie's favorite restaurant).

Hey there, Happy Saturday and SHOPPING to you. Are you members of the Safari Club? If you go there more than a couple of times (total) it is a GREAT DEAL. I especially like the line jumping privs. They even work at WDW (although not as well)!!!!!

Our schedule so far:
Sat.---arrival, NC Belle may go play while NC Beast naps, DTD or Boardwalk entertainment---we get to have a snack and/or light dinner at a place like Wolfgang Express or if its open--the new Irish Pub on PI.

Don't forget Earl of Sandwich as an option here.....great food, decent price

2006---We might save up and have a week or so out west. I really should go visit my relatives in TX, TN/AL/GA, and NY/MA in addition to our trips to MD/PA.

Congrats to the Beasts, I wish our trip to WDW was in October too so I could meet up with you all as well. Anyone fancy a trip at Christmas?
Today was quite good. This evening I went to the theatre to see Singing in the rain. Pete was playing in the pit band so I went with friends.

I have just logged on to the BBC website to catch up on the news. It said that Birmingham city centre has been evacuated due to a terror threat. Birmingham is the next biggest city to London and is in the midlands. It is the closest big city to where I live and Petes famlily (aunts, uncles and cousins) live there, although it is about an hours drive from here (London is about a 3 hour drive to the city centre.) England is quite a sad place at the moment. Flags are flying at half mast everywhere and a national 2 minutes silence has been announced for midday on Thursday (my birthday.) Our school will take part in it (we aleays observe national silences with all our children.) Sadly these days it is something the children are now used to doing, but they are very respectful because of this.

I hope everyone is well and having a good weekend. It is Petes 30th birthday tomorrow so we are going out for the day and in the evening our best friends are taking us out to the local Thai restaurant which will be nice. I am looking forward to seeing them as I haven't seen them for 3 weeks and they have goodies that they brought back from their trip to Orlando for us (I still can't believe they went to WDW without me dispite their promise they wouldn't!!)

Hi - we just got back from our long day and I have a stomach ache because I ate to much at the RFC. We got a "Volcano" because Stephanie ate so well and we probably shouldn't have because we all overate. To answer your question about the Safari Club - we are members and I didn't know you got line jumping priviledges. Are the people working there suppossed to ask you about that or are you suppossed to tell them on your own? No one asked us today and therefore we waited about 15 min. If you have to tell them on your own, I will start doing that everytime.

I'm not to sure when we will be returning back there because BabyKate was not to happy there. We sat right below the gorillas and she wouldn't even look at them. Because they were in front of her - she wouldn't eat because that would mean she had to face them. She never cried, but I could tell that she was very uncomfortable. She wouldn't even eat any of the "Volcano" and she always likes ice cream.


Danauk - Happy Birthday to your DH and if I should not be posting much this week - Happy Birthday to you to on Thursday !! Please keep us posted on the news events of your country - my prayers go out to you all.

When you check in you show them your card. They write your name down (off of the card) and supposedly put you straight into the queue (like they called your name). At WDW, they have a seperate line for Safari Club members (I guess because of the sheer number of people running through.)

TagBabyIan is upstairs and fighting off sleep.

Oh well, I guess I am going to check out the cruises for next year...

Not much to report, nice quiet weekend. Decided on a Tinkerbell tattoo so I've had the consultation and go next week. I'm rather excited about it.

Good morning - it's going to be another really hot day today . We are going to be outside in the pool all day . This is really great weather for the pool, but the drought we are in is destroying everyone's grass. We are all really praying for rain around here.

s&k'smom - good luck with the tattoo!! I've always wanted one, but I'm to chicken to go through with it.

Alright guys - I'm going to grab some breakfast and then get me and the girls ready to go outside.

Just dropping by quickly to say hi to everyone.
Today has been really hot here. We were going to go to the designer outlet village today but then we realised that the British Grand Prix is on at Silverstone today so heading to the shopping village then turned into a bad idea (the traffic is crazy near here on Grand Prix weekend.)
We are just about to head out to our best friends for some drinks and then dinner at the Thai restaurant which will be really nice. They brought me some park maps back from WDW to add to my already crammed full passporter ready for our Christmas trip (it seems that I have turned into the head organiser and information gatherer. They said I could fill them in on the plane!!)

I just stumbled upon the new entrance to TAGLIARCHY Island!

It's truly magnificent, a sight to behold. The lush gardens, the two pools, the towers for the princesses... and I believe Ty and the crew may still be hanging around!

I don't think you'll need to come in through the vault any longer. Just take a look- TAGLIARCHY Island!
