Good job everyone on the weight loss!! Drink your water!!
Hope you guys are sticking with it and not getting discouraged! It is hard work and takes time. Sometimes your body doesn't react the way you expect it to and then after not losing for awhile, then BOOM the scale goes down. Keep up the good work!

My last personal training sessions are this week. I am faced with the choice whether to continue with the training or not. I feel if I stuck with training, then I could actually lose the 20 pounds I would like to lose before my birthday mid-August.
I'm really, really discouraged because my scale hasn't really gone down in over a week. Since we started this challenge, I am now walking 6+ miles a week at the gym, doing pilates a few times a week while DS is in kindergarten, walking around our community lake a few times a week with my family (it has a 2.2 mile walking trail, we walk down half of it to see the baby duck family that lives at the boats, then walk back... so probably 2 miles there) , and training 2x a week with a trainer. WHEW! I'm exhausted jsut reading all that! BUT my scale hasn't continued to go down after losing 5 pounds since April.
This week is I get to be remeasured. Two weeks ago when I was measured I was down 6 inches. I'm afraid I just won't have lost a lot since then. I don't feel I have at least. I should start measuring myself at home, too, so I stop getting so discouraged when the scale gets "stuck."
So all this comes to my big question. Should I sign up with more sessions with my personal trainer (IF I have lost more inches, I won't for sure if the muscles haven't changed) or should I try just losing the weight and inches by myself? I push myself a lot harder when I know I have a trainer that will be checking my food log and my exercise log a few times a week. The big killer is that for 20 more sessions...10 weeks... it is $1200. If I work hard (and stop eating out once a week), I really think I could lose 20 pounds in that 2.5 months with a trainer. That's as much as our WDW trip for our family of 4 for 6 days this fall (without the plane tickets LOL).
What would you do? I would love a magic weight loss pill... or lipo... but neither one is happening, and the trainer actually is helping me build muscle strength instead of just sucking the fat away.... I keep thinking maybe I should try Weight Watchers, for that same amount of money I could go for months, right?
Hello all.. I had a great weekend but am basically starting allllllll over again..(gained 3 pounds) I way over did it at my sisters..
The good news is that I have not lost my will power and am going to work really hard to loose...again
