Niagara Wineries

This is kinda embarrassing since I live 45 minutes from wine country but anyone have an experience with winery tours and experiences? Recommendations?

We did Konzelmann Estate Winery a couple of months ago . It is a beautiful Estate on Lake Ontario. I don’t drink but my friend does and she was impressed with the wine

I'm not exactly sure where you are, however, there are a few wineries close to me. In fact, one is just a stone throw away. And the other one is 4 miles away, both overlooking Keuka Lake. Neither have tours, but, I do know they are able to explain their wines and the way the vineyard work is done and how the grapes are then turned into wine. I do not drink wine. We have a vineyard just across our lawn but those grapes go to Welchs.

I have done several. One near Niagara on the Lk. Another near Grimsby I believe. Wasn’t my thing but my wife enjoys that sort of thing.

There are many wineries, some big ones, in Beamsville, all within a short drive of one another. I'm in Grimsby, so just up the road. I've not done any official 'tours' but I have visited many. Tawse, Megalomaniac are two of the largest, Redstone, Malivoire, Bench are in the same general area. My daughter worked at Redstone a few summers, it's very nice.

The wineries generally start at the Grimsby/Beamsville border with Peninsula Ridge, then you travel east on Hwy 8 all the way into Jordon if you're so inclined.
