Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

I just wanted to comment further on our trip. I was so, so happy I treated my mom. That suite was freakin’ glorious, and she was so happy. The unseasonal heat the week we went stunk - we wanted to walk and do more, but it was just overwhelming! The staff was lovely to her. We saw Irv once, but most others were new, with a few exceptions. They were still stellar! Money so, so well spent.

I am a total waste for CL since I never use it to the max (other than “line wine” and apps) but I cannot help loving it. I am an addict, darn it. I am hammering into savings now for some house renos so need to carefully target everything - I decided I’d just…rather do CL and cut out stuff like August sauna trips to MNSSHP to max it out. Torture! But DH is now intrigued by: GF CL, a child-free fireworks party at Epcot, Wagyu nigiri at Shiki Sai, the temptation of (🤞) After Hours and Tron, and a pass that ensures you can do what you want whenever (Premiere, obvs). So I snagged a BB rate for GF deluxe -not king- in late January. I mean, we’ll see if that man follows through, but there is beef involved. I will be happy to sample all listed regardless!
Thanks for sharing! I changed our GF Deluxe King Room CL (4 nights) to 5 nights BWI Garden Room CL. I could KICK MYSELF right now! DH wanted to stay at one resort instead of doing a split stay & the additional night just wouldn't come open. I am loving your review 😍

I have been told that only one of the Garden Rooms at Boardwalk Inn Club level is on one story. Does anyone know the number of that room?
Thanks.
I have never heard that or seen any of these Garden Room with CL Access units on a single level. There are (3) units that are an alternate layout, it is not a loft configuration like the other 11 units. . Instead of a front porch they have a "Structurally Enclosed" balcony on the full 2nd floor in the King bedroom.

They are: 1205, 1206, and 1207.

Your question had me curious so I poked around a bit.

Disney's website will let you book a "Garden Room - Club Level Access - Wheelchair Accessible with Rollin Shower and Optional Hearing - King" under the accessible options, which seemed odd knowing what we know about those rooms, so that had me further going down the Google rabbit hole.

That led me to this video from July 2023 (shortly after the refurb) which references "one of the cottages is actually accessible, they just finished building it and it's at the end of this building." I normally question the accuracy of such blogs/vlogs with that kind of minutia but they actually sound relatively informed throughout the video. Looking closer, the room he is pointing to does have a little Garden Cottage "bird house" - which says 1340.

Later in the video there's another angle pointing towards that room where you can zoom in and see the MB/room key scanner on the exterior door, like the other Garden Cottages.

I'm guessing it's possible that vlogger was correct and a one story accessible Garden Cottage was added this last renovation, possibly they combined 1340 and 1338 into one? Or it's always been one and it just never gets mentioned?

Would love to hear first hand experience if this is in fact correct.

That is Robert & Alyssa of Here with the Ears. They are the couple that spent a year living at all the WDW Resorts and providing videos on YouTube. They now live in Orlando. There videos have been very accurate.

Lets link in @lentesta of TouringPlans.com to ask about this room now appearing to be #1340 as an Accessible Garden Cottage with CL Access as a 1 floor only unit vs a regular 2 Queen room as indicated on TouringPlans for Boardwalk Inn.

In case someone was looking for a GF CL room for this July with a bounceback rate, I cancelled this morning a GF Deluxe CL room for July 24 - 28, 2025.
Considered this, hard. But I can’t in July!! 😭

After a rough day of more layoffs at work (anyone working for a corporation likely experiencing similar), I need an infusion, and frankly, it’s cheaper (and better) to go to WDW than DL, despite the flights. I reneged on my earlier vow not to go to the stupid sweaty and rainy August party and booked CR CL. Gah.

I can confirm that 1340 is a one floor, accessible garden cottage.
It is not in the same row with the other garden cottages, 1201-1212 and 1214-1215.
It is across the path from those and across from the other side of the quiet pool.
1340 also has a window on the side that the other cottages lack.

Ok so my son picked universal and a night at Disney after hours at HS. I went to start booking and I had complete sticker shock lol. I bought the after hours tickets and gave up lol. All I have to say is wow, prices went up! We're going next month si not much planning time. Was going to stay 2 nights at Disney then move to universal. Over 1000 for a CL portofino room. 250 pp for 1 day epic express passes 😳 I was even surprised at Disney prices. WL and gran destino club was reasonable. My son wants boardwalk area so my husband said it's his trip. Holy moly prices went up lol. The bwi cl was just about 900. Non club was 6, same price as a 1 bedroom. I was so overwhelmed I didn't book anything lol. Even flights are throwing me off, we usually fly newark. Jetblue hasn't had cancelations all week but newark is stoll so iffy. That leaves jfk which I hate. Has anyone flown newark lately? Can someone just take my credit card and plan and book everything for me please🤣 ok just had to vent. My theme park hating husband doesn't want to listen to anything about this trip lol.

I actually just had 2 sets of friends travel to Disney!! One flew in/out of Newark (just got home Sunday) and had no issues at all. The other decided to switch to JFK due to the issues at Newark, just got home last Friday, and said everything was good, except it took them over 2 hours to get home from the city due to traffic. Good luck deciding! Have fun!

I have stayed in the end room before the renovation and it was 2 floors like the others. Since the renovation we have stayed in the club level rooms over looking the boardwalk so I am not sure if they made any changes to that room.

We did get a walk through of one when we stayed there but it was a balcony one (my preference). I was surprised they didn’t redo the bathrooms as everyone I have stayed the showers leaked.

My sister has been flying almost weekly out of Newark for work for the last month and *knock on wood* has not had any issues on any flight.

My DH and I are headed for Disney in August and considered the same. But still booked Newark.

Thank you all so much for your answers to my question. I will be requesting this room for our september visit as my husband now has some health issues that would make it a more enjoyable stay.

Ok, I made a decision, a non disney one lol. Since we are only doing an after hours event I decided to book at Universal for the entire trip. We will just uber back and forth to HS. In case anyone wants to know I booked portofino club level. I did an annual pass for just me since the room discount was worth it. I think it came to about 650 a night on average. So no disney cl pics from me this trip. If anyone wants any portofino cl info just let me know and I'll report back. I also think I'm going to suck it up and do newark. So much closer then jfk. So thank you to those who gave airport info.
