Misc snack stuff - the whoopie pies were new to me and extremely dangerous.
I was trying to snap and run, I need a flash but that would make me look like an even bigger dork!!Say what you will about Royal Palm Club, but the renovation has certainly made it one of the more photogenic CLs at WDW. Influencer-level lighting is on point.![]()
I never eat breakfast (yeah, I know, I waste money staying CL, it’s extremely stupid) but I’m 99% sure mom commented on them. So I’m tentatively going with yes.Everything (including that room!) look amazing!!
Did they ever have Mickey waffles during breakfast? Lack of Mickey waffles is one my main (and few) CL gripes.
No don't worry about what others think if they are not following you home (part of you family). You likely will never see them again what do you care what they think. We enjoy your food pictures, that's all that matters...I was trying to snap and run, I need a flash but that would make me look like an even bigger dork!!
Did you find the renovations distracting to your overall experience? I normally enjoy taking my time, listening to the piano player but I assume it's quite different now with the lobby refurbisment.I never eat breakfast (yeah, I know, I waste money staying CL, it’s extremely stupid) but I’m 99% sure mom commented on them. And a mix from the 2 mornings I took breakfast pics:
Not at all. There was noise one day for 2 hrs. It was loudish in the club but very muffled in the room (which is overlooking the lobby). Piano guy was still there and since we had no noise ever after 4, it was a nonissue.Did you find the renovations distracting to your overall experience? Poly cl is not my personal jam, but for NYE? That is a no-brainer. Poly. I believe you will have private beach access/seating for mk fireworks. I know others have done this and will comment.Hi, all. Debating Poly vs YC club level for a post-Xmas trip including New Years. We’ve stayed at and really like both, but leaning toward Poly given the New Year’s Eve set-up. Any other pros/cons I should be considering specific to that time of year? Thanks much.
Oh good call. Dd didn’t like the sofa sleeper in the suite. Full beds are better.I wound up switching our 1 BR outer building GF suite for 2 CR Atrium CL rooms in Nov after seeing the size of the pullout couch (full). I am footing the bill as a gift and am not giving my sister and niece the bedroom and sleeping on the couch as well - I have my limits after all! And the CR rooms were around the same total rate. Sigh. I will look forward to the next time I can snag one of those suites!!!!
Have done NYE at poly a few times. Love it! With everything so busy it’s nice to have food and drinks without waits.Hi, all. Debating Poly vs YC club level for a post-Xmas trip including New Years.
