The WW leader thinks I am not eatin enough. I think I should start adding a few calories in by starting with your cake

That was told to me by my trainer when I was trying to lose my weight and hit a plateau. I wasn't consuming enough calories and my body went into starvation mode and hoarded all my calories. That is good news.

So I just got a friend request on facebook from my cousin. She's in about the 7th grade. Not sure if I want to friend her or not.

It does not seem to matter if I eat more or less; I am staying the same weight. This would not bother me if I was about 15-20 pounds lighter than what I am now!

WFD- Pork Tenderloin?!??!?! Not sure what I am going to do with it, or what I have to go with it for sides. Perhaps, I will marinade the tenderloin in italian dressing once it defrosts and grill it.

Shhhhhhhhh, knock on wood ...my little cherub has slept through the night for two straight nights. He is going to bed late but sleeping right through till 7am. I am one happy Mom!

Kathy -- I think I did post yesterday, but in the morning. My family has been blitzing me with emails about the upcoming U2 concerts, so it has been cutting into my DIS time. Anyway, I hope Kyle does a great job pitching next time. The coach sure put a lot of pressure on him! That had me a little Maybe the coach is seeing how Kyle handles it?

My indian food was really delicious last night. I took photos but have not uploaded them yet.

Tonight I am either making sausage and pepper subs or asian noodle bowl.

DS and I are sitting here watching a Cardinal on my deck. I really hope she is not hurt, but I think she is. She is curled up in a ball now like she is sleeping. DS keep asking where it's Mommy & Daddy are. I just don't want another animal to get her. I have my fingers crossed she is fine and is going to fly away.

update: our bird flew away into the near woods.

Thank you for all your kind words on that picture! I have really felt that with this pregnancy, I at least looked good most of the time. I look at pictures when I had Andrew and I looked like I was at death's door!

Speaking of Andrew, today is his 11th birthday! I let him take off from school so he is hanging with Tom and Grandma and they will come here later (around 3:30 and we will have an early dinner and cake).

Morning. It snowed overnight, and I'm mad about it! I want SPRING!

Anyway, dinner last night was ok. Just a simple stir fry, but everyone ate it. That's what counts, right? Tonight will be another crowd pleaser: taco pizza.

I'm off to feed the baby and then run to the store. I'll check in later.

Hi everybody! I'm still lurking regularly, but haven't had much of an opportunity to post. I just wanted to jump in and congratulate Lauren and her family on that beautiful big baby boy! As I expected, Kathy was quite the bundle of anticipation during our NOLA meet. We were all excited when the news came across!

Oh, and don't think all of you were left out of our meet. The WFD gang was mentioned several times during the course of conversation! I sure wish y'all could have enjoyed the meal & company with us!

Okay, I made this for dinner:
Spaghetti with Asparagus, Smoked Mozzarella and Prosciutto
I liked it but DH thought it needed a sauce.

The cover of this month's Food & Wine shows something similar....Penne pasta with Asparagus, Peas and what looks like Parmesan. I want to try it, but I haven't been able to get past page 6 of the issue. I have a feeling DH & the kiddos will be looking for a sauce as well.

I just finished a carmel apple cake I made it for the guys that worked on my car.

OOH, that cake looks yummy! DH's truck is in the shop as we speak. Maybe I should go home and bake a cake?

Ann- I was just thinking about you, I had the most delicious grapefruit just now. I still have the other half that I'm trying to save for later. How's the little bird doing?

Glynis- We have a few crocus' in our yard, springs on it's way- it could hurry up a bit though.

Hersey- Your cake looks great, your a better person than me- anything with pecans stays at our house.

I'm going all out for dinner tonight- pancakes and sausage. One will be excited and the other will complain, but that's to bad. We haven't had breakfast for dinner in a while anyway. Have a good day all.
