The Official Gilmore Girls Thread

I missed it due to a major drama with my house. Selling a house SUCKS! But it's TIVO'd, so hopefully I should be able to watch it tonight. I'll chime in tomorrow! :)

I really like Logan too. He's a nice change of pace to the usual characters.

I don't know why but Luke was bugging the crap out of me last night. I wish Loralei would have told him off more than she did and not seemed "nice" toward him at all.

Next week looks good  !

I'm so glad there are others who like Logan. I think he is great for Rory as far as getting her out of the books and into some adventure. I even like him better than Dean and Jess.

I think Logan is a good compromise between Jess and Dean. Jess was the "bad boy" but he also acted like he couldn't care less about Rory. Dean was a little too syrupy sweet and over the top. Logan is a "bad boy" but he is also showing that he cares about Rory and wants to spend time with her (at least in the last couple of episodes).

Logan is ok. They look a little uncomfortable when they kiss though :confused3 He is cute but I liked Rory with Jess. Must be the whole bad boy thing but I like him.

Next week is a definite don't miss! Can't wait to see it.

I loved how Luke kept his committment to the school play because he was hoping he would run into Lorelei and then getting so mad when she would never show up. He even went over to her house because she didn't show up!
I personally like Logan. He has an edge to him that I really like. I think it's kind of ironic that Rory is discovering and starting to enjoy the lifestyle that her mother shunned.

I like the Rory/Logan story arc. I think it's great that she's enjoying college life more now than in other seasons. Marty is nice, but he's a Dean, someone you settle down with. Logan is exciting and that's what Rory needs.

I can't wait till next weeks episode since they're going to deal with Lorelai and Emily's estrangement. It will be interesting to see the interaction between Luke and Emily, especially since she will be on his turf.

There's a real good article about GG in last weeks Entertainment Weekly. Amy Sherman Palladino said that she's always had the entire series planned out and even knows how the last episode will end.

I think that is the point of this relationship - I really think Rory will end up embracing this lifestyle and it will help bring a healing to Lorelai and her parents

can someone recap Tuesday's show, I was at the dentist and missed it.

I missed the first half hour...did I miss much of anything?

:goodvibes :cool1:  :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :cheer2: :bounce: :jumping1: :scared1: :hyper2:  :dancer: :thewave: :jumping2:

Nothing much happened. I thought the overall episode kind of sucked except that last part.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa,,,,I missed it!!!!!!!

anyone want to spill the beans?

Emily showed up at the diner and she told Luke she was staying out of things. Luke show's up at Loralie's door and she answers it, neither one of them say anything becuase Luke just grabs her and kisses her

I missed the first half but basically Lorelei avoided her mother but would interact with her dad and that really got to Emily. I guess Rory let Emily have it too. At the very end of the show Emily went to Luke's and told Luke to go back to Lorelei and she promised she would stay out of it. So Lorelei is home watching a move...there is a knock at the door...she answers and Luke is standing there....he doesn't say a word he just walks in, takes her in his arms and kisses her .....and they lived happily ever after :lovestruc

I'm sure there are some things I missed but that's most of it. :)

I just started getting into this show via reruns. How did Lorelai's Mom break up her and Luke please??

Emily and Richard had been separated but then got back together and decided to renew their vows. Emily has never liked Luke and used the opportunity to invite Christopher to the wedding and actually told him to try and get Lorelei back...that they belonged together. Well, of course, it didn't work but Luke broke up with Lorelei because of it. Lorelei hasn't spoken to her mother since.
:wave2:

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy that they're together again!!! :Pinkbounc

I was yelling and cheering when it was Luke at the door and saying, "Please God, don't let this be a dream!!" I'm so glad it's not -- I hated when they were broken up.
