I can't help thinking about poor Luke!...think of all he has done for Lorelei!...
Loaned her the money for the inn, gave her flowers, built her a skating rink for pete's sake!...what has she done for him?...so far...not much that I can tell!...Poor guy!!!!

I have to say even though I'm a relative GG newbie I'm not getting the whole Lorelei/Christopher drama...I haven't been seeing *any* sparks between them for many many episodes now so I found it a bit unbelievable that just because Emily tells Christopher that there is a chance with Lorelei, that he would (in a drunken stupor, might I add) decide all-of-a-sudden that they're meant together!!

BTW, loved Emily's little table arrangement booklet!! Could have used that idea at my sister's wedding last year!

Bumping up for tonight's ep. Can't wait to see how the Emily/Lorelai drama plays out. And I think we're going to see the end of Luke/Lorelai (for a while, anyway).

I'm going to cry if they aren't together. Didn't we wait long enough for them to get together? If they aren't together, I can not see Lorelai forgiving her mother anytime soon.

I hear ya about the tiredness, Amy. I am about done in. But I WILL stay awake (or, more likely, have SO wake me up 2 minutes before show time ).

It's just my opinion that Luke's gonna split for awhile, but between Lorelai's belated confession about spending the evening with Christopher and a bottle of tequila, and then Christopher making a fool of himself, I think Luke's gonna need some time off.

I am anxiously awaiting the Emily/Lorelai standoff, though. Hope they give some time to that tonight. I'm sorry, but I'm so not interested in the whole Logan/Rory dating thing. I still am not completely sold on him.

Did anyone watch tonight or is that a silly question? Tonight's episode brought me to tears. I thought it was really good. Lorelei crashed and burned but when she picks herself up, and she will, her mother had better watch out!

Tonights episode was just too sad!...I hate how the writers torture us..

I agree with the Rory, Logan thing...I think I liked Jess more than him...and I really didn't like Jess at all and just didn't see the attraction there...I think shes going to get her heart broke with this one since she is really the one pursuing him...

I still don't care for Logan...although my SO is lobbying for him. For some reason, he really likes him. He did grow on me a little last night, but still not a huge fan.

Lorelai killed me last night!! I was yelling at the TV...if she had just given him the time he asked for, he probably would have come to the conclusion that he was willing to persevere through the problems...but because she rushed him into saying what he thought at that moment, he was still mad and hurt. She recovered herself at the end, though, and he didn't look too thrilled with her pledge to leave him alone. So there is hope.

Bummed there was no Emily in this ep...I cannot wait for that confrontation...and the one with Christopher I am sure is coming.

What a great episode! I was bawling (pathetic I know) when Lorilei was leaving Luke that message. I can not WAIT to see her lay into her parents. I know Emily was the one who orchestrated Christopher coming to the wedding but dear old dad treated Luke like a piece of crap at the golf outing and I hope he gets told where to go too.

I like the Rory/Logan thing. I hope to see more of that.

I just read that Rory is going to be the one to let Emily have it on her Friday night dinner. Her mom doesn't attend so Rory yells at her grandmother. It said she yelled once at her grandfather and this time it will be her grandmother. After that I guess Emily goes to the diner to talk to Luke. But I don't know if it will help.

I heard the writers are going to put Loralie and Christopher together.

I feel so sad. It took how many seasons for them to get together and within 4 episodes they split apart so fast. I was waiting for Luke to grab Loralie when they met at her front door and tell her to "lets just start over." But no, he sat there and listened to her and he looked like a deer caught in head lights and didn't say a word and walked away. Grrrr.

If they are going to put Christopher and Lorelai together and keep them together I'm not going to watch. We had to endure 6 seasons of Luke and Lorelai flirting and waiting for them to get together and now we get to see her with Christopher? They don't even have any chemistry. Yuck.

I HATED the ending last night!! And I hated even more the previews for next week when Lorelai is yelling at Luke.

I swear, they better get them back together and fast ....

I feel confident they'll get back together. This is just a blip...and a blip that would have blown over a lot more quickly if Lorelai had just done what Luke asked and given him some space. Now she's going to be a little cranky with him because that's how people generally act when they feel like they've screwed up/done something dumb and made a fool of themselves. Been there, done that!

Can't wait to see Rory go off on Emily if it happens!!

Well, I watched it last night finally. Thank heavens it's rerun on Wednesdays at 6 on PAX here.

I felt so badly for Lorelai--it just broke my heart. Logan is starting to grow on me although I wish he didn't feel the need to act the bad boy all the time. I did like the way he gave Rory the car and driver.

And I'm always tickled when Rory gets all ornery. I loved it when she flounced in and demanded the ribbons from Taylor and then as she's leaving, you hear Taylor say, "She used to be so nice when she was little." I can't wait to see her rip Emily up next week.

Ok, girls what did we think about last nights episode?

I am not sure Logan is the best thing for Rory although he can at least keep up with her interests. I don't think she is good at chosing boyfriends. I think I like Marty better. I loved the Luke at the play scenes, it was cute how he was trying to be with Lorelai but then got into just helping the kids. It was a good episode to show some different sides of people.

I thought it was great and it definately seems that a reconciliation is on the way. I for one LOVE Logan. I am not really sure why but he seems like so much more fun than Marty and he might loosen Rory up a little bit - that poor girl never has any fun!!
