I watched it last night and sobbed during most of it. I've had to send my dd off into the big world sooner than most and listening to Lorelai giving Rory instructions about the best place to sit on the bus, etc. and then having Rory tell her, "You've given me everything I need" just made me lose it completely.

Wow, I'm going to miss that show so much. It's one of the few out there that doesn't treat viewers like complete idiots. Funny, fast-paced, and smart. We need more shows like that.

I sure hope so! I have not been able to comment yet on our takes on the finale, but let's just say I felt it was ENTIRELY thrown together, and that might make a much better "finale".... even if a year or two late!

I just finally watched the finale.

I cryed through the whole thing!

I am glad it was mostly about Rory and Lor, but they still got the rest of the town on in it. Doesn't it make you just want to live in a place like Stars Hollow!?

I love that Lane and Rory had their time together.

I love that Luke planned the whole party.

I love that Richard was so sweet to Lor (though I could have done without Emily!)

I love Babette and Miss Patty and the whole town showing their support.

I love that they ended it with us just seeing the possibility of Luke and Lor. But that they didn't go into it too much. Sweet.

And I love the final scene ending in Lukes Diner.

I am going to miss this show so much!
I really hope the movie does come out.

I heard that Amy wants to write it because it was supposed to end with 4 words. Anyone want to guess what those 4 words would be?

I was in Costco yesterday they have seasons 1-6 for 18.99 ...not a bad price if you want to relive all the great moments.
