I am sure this has been posted before, but I cannot find in the search.

Regarding Refillable mugs:

Since they don't seem to be Resort Specific any longer, can you refill at any QS location throughout your day? If you refill, does it use a snack credit?

Anyone got any neat ways of carrying these around outside of the obvious?

Thank you all.

Ok. I seem to have missed something. Mugs are no longer resort specific??? Do tell...

We just got back from POR we stayed in AB 2730. We requested Bldg 14 or 18 but did not get this. Bldg 27 is quite a hike to the south depot and the food court but not as far as others.

We did notice that the first bus of the day for each park only stopped at the South Depot. Most of the other buses made the loop before heading to the parks. So if your RD folks you should request to be close to the South Depot.

Hmmm....sorry, you lost me....RD folks?

Did you otherwise enjoy the resort? How was your room?

We like bldg 27 when we have a water view room...we find it a nice walk, but not far, to the food court and So Depot bus stop.

Welcome back and hope you had a great trip! :thumbsup2

RD=Rope Drop

The resort was OK I guess. I didn't think the pool was anything to write home about, in fact I was kind of disappointed with it. I doubt that I would choose to stay there again. We found ourselves at the parks from the first bus to after dark. So we did not really explore the resort. So anything they offered was lost on us. Next time it will be a value resort.

Yes we did have a great trip but POR was nothing special IMO.

Can you believe after 30 yrs of WDW visits that went right over my head? :rotfl:We're always at rope drop too. :rotfl:

I'm not a fan of POR either, but we didn't mind bldg 27. Will likely not stay there again...but do enjoy it's sister resort, FQ.

Thanks for taking the time for the honest review...and glad you had a great trip!

Sorry, I tried to follow the thread but am confused.

Can I bring my own poles and fish at Port Orleans?

What are the fees involved with or without poles?

Bait?

Well, it's been a while since I posted here. We still don't know if our DD14's Best Friend will be going with us or not (makes it so difficult to plan), however we did change our reservation from POP to POR, requested AB section, and got Free Dining as well.

Next job is to make those ADR's, which I guess I'll be doing on Memorial Day.

Has Yeeha Bob returned returned? :goodvibes

Has anyone seen him since he came back?

Hi

From what I have read he is back and doing well:banana:. We are looking forward to seeing him when get there in Aug/sep

Yes, he returned on 18th March.

Andre

As anyone seen him since he made his comeback? :goodvibes

I'm arriving late on a Saturday and was hoping to catch him after I checked in. I'll see if I can find his Facebook page.....

Thanks!

Oh my! What happened to Yehaa Bob? I didn't know that he had been gone.
Tonight at dinner my DD(16) asked what resort we were going to be staying at for our trip. When I told her we were going back to POR, her response was, "I want to go see Bob while we are there". We really enjoyed him.

Okay, I'll ask:

Who is Yeeha Bob?

He performs a piano sing-along comedy show in the River Roost Lounge bar. Wednesdays - Saturdays, 8:30 pm - midnight.

Thank you. Another question: is this lounge a bar? Only accessible to adults? Seems unlikely, but I gotta ask.
