Does anyone know, I have a 6:20pm reservation but wasn't given the option for F*. Can I add it on or was I not given the option because the show is sold out?

It is a separate ADR option. You want to look for a Fantasmic Dining Package and choose that one.

After reading this thread maybe it's better off I didn't see the option. Dining Reservations has made this experience stressful so far.

Just got a call from Disney that went to voice mail that she agrees that it would be impossible to get dinner at 5:30 and make it to 7pm show since you are recommended to arrive early. She said we would be accommodated with passes for 8:30 pm show. Not sure if it is like a fast pass or what but hopefully this works out for everyone. I am curious to see how they do it but it doesn't matter - we will be in our happy place. We have seen Fantasmic many times and have the dining plan (for a change) so it really isn't costing us much extra. So if it works -great - if not - more time for Osborn lights which we haven't seen!

I received the same call --- was from Guest Relations - they said that the reason why they waited to call me back ( wasn't that big of a deal, as I had already spoken with them ) was because they were waiting for "official" word regarding how they were going to deal with this issue --- she didn't say if it would be an 8:30 pass or a FP -- just that they admitted they it would be a rush for people with an ADR after 5pm and impossible for anyone with any that are later -

I was able to get. A 4pm Minnie dinner without fantasmic. But was able to snag a fantasmic fast pass that night. Is there any difference ? Or did I just get pretty much the same thing?

The dining times for the Holiday Dinner with Minnie ( and friends) is from 4:30-6:30PM, I believe.

I have a 4:15pm ADR for this on Dec 24th. I did not book it at 180 days, it wasn't available then. But I did get up early with the waiting to go live Disboard thread and booked it in the first 30 seconds. At that time it did not specify which showing of fantasmic. There was only the one showing at 8:30 scheduled. Fast forward a bit and they announced the Merry & Bright Party. Scheduled for 7pm-8:30. I went ahead and booked that figuring they check in people early so we could enjoy it for a good hour and still make fantasmic. They still only have the 8:30 F! On the schedule. After this time they did an update simple stuff like changing the names on Character buffets but also adding that 1st showing. Now I have heard they will add another showing when they update in Nov. if it is an earlier show both my dinner AND my dessert party are messed up. So much for trying to make Christmas eve special.

Was just told by CM when I called that it is for first show ONLY. They suggested I change reservations if I needed more time to eat and get to the show. ?! Of course there are none to be had.

I emailed guest services and received a call. The CM told me I could go to either F! Of my choice or just ask that F! Surcharge off of our bill.

Any other posters have updates? We have 5:55pm H&V with F! for Wednesday. There's no way we could make the 7pm show in that time frame.

I phoned Disney about this issue finally. I got a CM who said she had worked there 14 years, so I am hoping she knew what she was talking about. She said when the server brings our vouchers, do not let him walk away. If they are for the first show to tell him you would like vouchers for the second show. She said that all the ADRs say first show but that disney puts a two and a half hour time between ADR and F! And you CAN ask for second show.

I'm hoping no news is good news? They added a second show to our night too. We have a dining reservation with Fantasmic for 6:10 and first show was added for 7 p.m. On Christmas Eve. Would love to stop worrying about this one, as it is our last DHS evening.

I got a voicemail that dinners after 5pm were being given tickets to the second show. I saved the voicemail in case there are in any issues. ( I sent an email and got a call the next day)

Same as teddysgurl- I got a voicemail too and am saving it in case proof is necessary. I have 5:30 dinner for 7 pm show.
