The "Minnie's Holiday dine" / Fantasmic Issue

Yes, you will probably beat us but at least it sounds hopeful now. I never did receive a call back from anyone. I guess I can't stress about it anymore and it is what it is.

We are a party of two - me and 12 yr old daughter. We eat very fast (I'm a nurse and some days you have little lunch time). We should just stand up and yell "hey fellow dissers" if one of us has trouble getting later times lol

Thank you to those reporting their experiences with the F! Minnies issue. I am a little less worried now.

In the restaurant now. Had 5:30 reservation but showed up early and seated by 5:05. They had tickets for 7pm show and asked if they were ok or if I wanted 8:30 show. I requested 8:30 and she promptly brought them out with no issues. The waiter also double checked that my tickets were for the show I wanted.

They are dining seating. Right in the middle.

You beat us! Got there about 5:10 for our 5:15 reservation. Had to wait about 20 minutes to get seated. Had a great waiter and he went and brought us 8:30 tickets when I asked. Characters were great, especially Daisy and Minnie. They came by numerous times and played with my little granddaughter. Food was ok, the typical Disney buffet. We had a lot of fun and totally glad we did it.

No problem at all. I asked our waiter as we were walking to our seats. Said we had planned on going to the 8:30 show and they added the 7:00 show. He asked which one we wanted and he brought them to us. We went to the Osborne Lights after dinner and then over to Fantasmic around 8. Great seats.

No problems at all getting into 8:30 show. Just go through the fast pass plus line. When you see the reserved dining seating section show the usher your tickets and they let you right in. I was so glad they had the dining section because you are right smack in the middle.

We have reservations for Minnie's Holiday Dine, but only half our party were able to get the version with Fantasmic!, the others without. We have tried for months to get everyone the same (with or without) but to no avail. When we arrive at H&V, can we forego the package option and all be bumped down to the normal dinner rate? Also, can anyone confirm whether TIW works for Minnie's with or without the Fantasmic package. Thanks!
